He talked about how the whole shaqtin' a fool thing affected him mentally to the point where it ruined his confidence on court. Truth is he was a solid roleplaying center and with the right coaching and encouragement (instead of constantly seeing how bad he was on TV) he could have been more. He put up 11 ppg 8rpg 2.2bpg on 25 minutes when he was young and he did 12/7.5/2.0 as an old guy in LA. Think about what he could have been in the right system.

Dude needs more respect than what he's been given. Always loved his hustle and his contributions as a Laker. I was quite dumb founded when the Lakers dealt some of there best assets after winning a chip in '20. Danny Green on the other hand??? Yeah I wanted him to continue his masonry for another team long before he was finally dealt!!

On the Wizards, he got more freedom to score. On the nuggets, he runs the floor to score on the break. Iggy and Miller provided him so much oppurtunities. On the Warriors, he got the chance to add 10+ pts every game because of how much space he had inside the arc, Warriors just keep feeding him. In the Lakers, he gave AD more freedom on offense since he can protect the paint while AD was hustling up front.
