In the words of Count Dooku: I've been looking forward to this. One personal anecdote I'd like to share about the grapple hook: When I came here from Halo Infinite the grapple hook was a headache and disappointment. In Infinite, the Spartan grapple hook is significantly more advanced. You can change directions and swing around a corner or just past a ledge by looking away. Crouching upon hitting the floor after a forward grapple produces a super slide. You can grapple just under a ledge and clamber will certainly succeed in pulling yourself over the ledge as long as it looks like your Spartan has the arm length. In DRG, the grapple hook is a simply "pull you towards the target point" tool. You cannot change direction mid-swing, there is no super slide, and clamber up to a ledge is possible but unreliable and incredibly short ranged (thought that might be due to horrendous lag from me playing from Asia). My first actual get left behind mission death was from failing to reach that extra inch onto the ledge and falling to my demise multiple times, whereas my Spartan could easily have made the climb. I assume this won't bother anyone but people coming from Halo Infinite and maybe Just Cause and Spiderman?

What you say about Halo Infinite sliding seems right but if there was sliding in DRG nobody would use it cause people just end up flying off cliffs and dying even more, also the mantling thing sucks though you shouldn't be relying on it unless your class movement item has no ammo

my argument against scout's grapple being selfish is that it's a free way to get resources that others would have to spend traversal ammo on if there's a vein high up sure you might spend 1 platform for the scout to land on, if you didn't have that grapple that would probably be at least 8 platforms, a zipline and probably 30 seconds to a minute of waiting, or some drill fuel.

21:31 you talk about deep scan and then show footage of salvaging a mule. Mistake or communicating that finding mule legs is similar to finding resonance crystals? Video is great, I had trouble with the scout before, but this really helped

when it comes to special powder... its a VERY VERY high skill floor overclock... it may seem like its not all that good, its a niche use thing that brings almost comically rediculous results... close quarters damage to escape route aquisition in less than 1 second. while also being able to use movement glitches to continuously move around at much faster speeds than the grappling hook can achieve...

The only bad thing about scout is that sometimes a toxic teammate will knock you for no reason but other than that I like being able to go really fast

DRAK-25 + Shield Battery Booster overclock is best combo. You will get dmg and rate of fire bonus when shield is fully charged and bonus for shield recharge. In exchange for overheating causing shield discharge. With hook it´s not problem to keep distance and shield charged.
