i am learning JS more than a year, i watched a lot of videos. But learning things takes time. You have to focus step by step. So 32 hours is not too long to change your life. I highly recommend this video if you want to be a JavaScript master.
@mhnoni2 ай бұрын
True, but don't forget, this is 32 compressed hours, it might take you like a month if you watch it and try to understand and implement it at the same time.

@shinoobie1549 Жыл бұрын
wow you must have went to a terrible school
@mileswilliams527 Жыл бұрын
@@shinoobie1549 agreed, partially. What was the degree? Did they do computer science? If so then most of what you learn isn’t tied to a particular language, it’s more about the fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, tokenisation, parsing, memory, low level kind of stuff, compilers, you know, all the good stuff that you actually don’t REALLY need to know if you just want to be a modem programmer who works with libraries and frameworks to produce user facing applications like web apps or mobile apps. The kind of things you learn in a CS degree aren’t really useful if you are just writing simple applications where you don’t need to understand what’s REALLY going on at the most fundamental levels, or you don’t need to create new algorithms or worry about time/space trade offs when analysing asymptotic runtimes while trying to optimise your code. CS degrees are mostly theoretical and mathematical in nature. A Software Engineering degree on the other hand, IS about writing quality software using SOLID principles, design patterns, testing, etc. If they did THIS degree and felt they learned more from this video then their school was RUBBISH!!!
@shinoobie1549 Жыл бұрын
@@mileswilliams527 He didn't say he learned more from the video. He said he learned "nothing". Even if you did CS you would still have done quite a lot of programming particularly low level programming which is much more difficult than javascript. If you can learn how to write a compiler in C then making webapps is pretty trivial IMO. Javascript is a c-like language so the syntax is pretty similar. You will also have done some type of networking course which would make you much more familiar with how the internet and the world wide web works than most web developers. Hell I know people who did EE and picked up web development pretty easily because they already have an academic background in a highly technical field. That's what you learn in any STEM degree. How to synthesize information and understand complex topics. Anybody claiming they learned "nothing" from 4 years of study either went to a really terrible school or was a really bad student
@meowish952 Жыл бұрын
@@shinoobie1549 the thing is most of the instructors in a third world country doesnt know how to program so they cant teach properly. They’ll just send you multiple choices exams. Most of schools here are terrible when I said most its 99%. I studied on my own to land a programming job. Unfortunately 5 years ago theres not much programming videos in youtube just crash courses or 1hr video or you need to buy premium courses unlike today that its everywhere and they can point you to the right path.

It's a perfect course video, the effort you put into this lecture is amazing. Just one thing I think will make it better, it will be great if you break the video into sections, not the content section but the video, because when I miss on something and want to go back a few minutes I could end up go back >30 minutes. if you break the video into sections it would be easier to go back to certain section exactly at the beginning of that section.
