square bracket notations- key points 1. To update variable keys- when we use the square bracket notation we set the value to the key name declared by the variable in the square bracket. i.e const variableName = "keyName" {[ variableName ] : "value"}. //this sets {keyName: "value"} 2. What is the name of the extension John uses to see the output (the state) of whatever he writes without actually running `node app.js` and looking in the terminal? I can basically see that he sees the output real time, similar to a comment that automatically appears at the end of his line.

Not sure what exactly . ...someExistingValue - just signals that you are copying all the existing values, and you might possible overwrite some of them.

I think when you create a new file you need to choose Quokka new file. Then it will activate.
