Hi, For part 5. Avoid for loops : In terms of performance, isn't it better to use the For? You only go through the list once, whereas you go through it 3 times with reduce, map and filter.

Hi in some cases where performance is super important for look wins. In most of the cases readability is more important than performance.

Regarding your example of using a for loop, vs making 3 calls to reduce, map and filter methods - won't the single for loop provide better performance when compared to making these 3 calls?

Yes it will but the readability is typically bad. Not all code must be performant. If your array is 20 items going for performance doesn't make sense. Obviously if performance is a bottle neck it makes sense to optimize it.

you can use !! shorthand for that as well for example let active = !!(isPrd && isEmp);
