Thank you for the interesting video ... Wow, that was a lot - and I mean a whole lot, even for someone familiar with many of the concepts ... the slides at minutes 12 and 13 give me some idea of what is being done at a high level .... this info helps ... but even here there is a presumption that the viewer knows what an "Application Context", "beans" and "IOC" are, etc. I would start with the slides at minutes 12 and 13, strip out - or define for the viewer - the technical terms, and then delve into details. I would stay away from the "in the weeds" details of what is done, and concentrate on what we are doing at a high level.

check application type should be 1st step...after scanning classpath springboot identifies the type of application and then returns the object of context or we can say initialize container type like AnnotationConfigApplicationContext or AnnotationConfigEmbeddedWebApplicationContext or AnnotationConfigServletWebServerApplicationContext...one more annotation that is @conditional plays important role in configuring beans....you hv covered it wel bro.

9:00 where is @Configuration in that class?
@RichaBehera1293 жыл бұрын
I have one doubt why we add @configuratin in most of the classes in spring boot even if that class is not the the main class.
@Javatechie3 жыл бұрын
Usually when we will specify config specific to application it's recommended to go with java base config approach that's the reason we need @Configuration

Thanks sir for your valuable feedback .😃
@aadiraj61263 жыл бұрын
Sir @EnableAutoConfiguration tells spring boot to enable auto configuration mechanism what u showed that META-INF/spring.factories. @ComponentScan tells Boot to scan all annotation & bean present in packages & subpackages from where its located(default nature, in case basepacakges aren't mentioned) and register in IoC container. Then why we need @Configuration in @SpringBootApplication? Suppose we need to use @Bean in same main class then we might require, but generally we don't code any thing inside main class, thus default given @Configuration annotation inside @SpringBootApplication isn't making it inefficient & verbose?🤔
