Fun fact! Charge attacks from bow characters deal less damage the further the enemy is. The amos bow does increase your damage based on the range, but since its only 5 times, once every 0.1s, and due to the fact previously stated, you shouldn't be too far away from the enemy but keep some distance for the passive to act at full potential.

Yeah, the distance where your damage starts to dramatically falls off with Amos is pretty big but not infinite. It's why we Ganyu mains like to snipe things with Amos equiped. However Ganyu's frost flake arrow bloom is uniquely taking advantage of the bows passive. That said Faruzan typically prefers any of the other 5 star crit bows if you have them.

In today's episode of Genshin with Java: Java decides to give up everything for C6 dps Faruzan. Got 3 Baizhu, and 12 Beidous, 1 Tighanri, 1 Mona, 2 Off banner Chongyuns etc, before C6 Faruzan. After which proceeds to farm Wanderer's best artifact set. (didn't get Wanderer) Realised Faruzan has less dps when using four piece desert pavilion than 2 piece vv, 2 piece desert pavilion after farming. Then having no use for remaining desert pavilion pieces. (didn't get Wanderer) Anyway thanks for the content Java :D

It's like how Yun Jins signature weapon is Dragonsbane (she uses it in her splash art) but it has 0 synergy on her. I'm just assuming here tho, i could be wrong

jsyk the Amos and Desert Pavillion bonuses didn't work due to Faruzan's enhanced aim shot being considered an elemental skill damage - it's written in the tooltip Also, aim shot damage falls off after some distance - to max the Amos passive you don't actually have to be that far away from the enemies

i built faruzan as a DPS when i first got her because i liked her personality so much, she does about 12k per skill and NA (infused with skill) with a 3 star slingshot and no supports/food, which is not alot but for a lore player like me that is really good, i’m glad you made a video building her! she deserves more recognition!

15:57 as someone who played first two years of genshin mainly with bow characters let me explain why it's like that. There's hidden radius for all atacks and when your attack go further it's damage will be reduced. I forgot already how far and by how much, but from where you were shooting those hilichurls I would say that damage was cut by around 40-50%. Also there is characters who have smaller reduction, most noticable is Ganyu, her attacks still reduced but not as much as other bow users.

90 pity = 9 4 stars, half of which are banner. 9/2 =4.5, of which only a third are the character you are aiming for. 4.5/3 = 1.5 copies of the character you are aiming for, per 90 pulls. Basically accounting for earlies, you get about 2 copies of a 4 star per 5 star typically. At seven copies, and accounting for soft pity, you can expect around 4 5 stars before c6-ing a 4 star character.

i would assume that emblem would be quite good for a sustainable dps faruzan build. she struggles for er even when only building er, so emblem alleviates some of that, and gives burst dmg, which she does a lot of dmg with. plus, we’ve had emblem for a while, so you prob have a good emblem set for her

@@cia1218 Lions Roar is still generally better in aggravate as long as you can maintain it's passive, and that is generally easy on Keqing. With an EM sands at R5 an Iron Sting performs on par with an R1 Lions Roar. With an attack sands at R5 the Iron Sting performs 3% better than an R1 Lions Roar. R5 lions Roar will out perform an R5 Iron Sting in most situations. It's recommended to use Toukabou Shigure if you have it over Iron Sting as it performs similarly to an R5 Lion Roar in single target scenarios. A 5 star crit weapon is generally her best option, but if you don't have them and have a Lions Roar with refinements that will generally be the better option over crafting an R5 Iron Sting. As with all builds your artifact quality will cause your weapon mileage to vary.

@@enchantedrin i wouldn’t say signature because jade cutter was the featured weapon when she had her own banner. mistsplitter’s passive works in her entire kit (almost similar with her C6) and aesthetics neither keqing nor qiqi have signature weapons at the moment. both of them can make good use of the primordial jade cutter, but that says more about what a good weapon jade cutter is more than anything

Best part, and c) all that Pavillion farming probably would be a lot less painful if you actually switched over to Wanderer for one of those 5* pulls instead of Baizhu. It took me a total of three banners; C1 Wanderer (debut and rerun), Tighnari, and Xianyun, to c6 Faruzan. I feel your pain. Also For long distance shots, Ganyu (maybe Lyney?) is the only bow user who can make great use of Amos because of how her bloom works. DPS Faruzan would rather have ANY of the crit 5 star bows and a 2p Anemo 2p attack set.
