Religion has given nothing but pain to the Muslims. They are under the ruthless influence of the mullahs from which they find it impossible to extricate (unlike the Hindus whose religion is personal and there is very little influence of the priest). That is why some intellectuals like Javed Akhtar have become atheists. They have essentially given up on Islam but I bet he still believes in that Supreme power which governs us all.

The day grows dim, the shadows creep, the wind whispers low, the world sleeps. The heart aches, the tears fall, the silence calls, the night deep." Here, "the" is a radeef. Such poems however are not common in English or any other language except Urdu, Persian.

تلوار کہ جسم، ہاۓ اب یار تو دیکھ۔۔۔۔ مل کے پھر وہ بچھڑنا، یہ وار تو دیکھ۔۔ ہر اک کاسے میں لیے پھرتا ہے دل۔ گدا گر رقص کا، ابھی دار تو دیکھ۔ الجھا کے گیسؤں میں، کھیلے پھر وہ۔ گھر بچا ہی نہ کوئی، وہ تار تو دیکھ۔ رخسار سے گردن تک، آتش ہے وہ۔ یوں چھاتی گھاؤ، بس مہکار تو دیکھ۔ وہ شمع کی طرح، اب کہ ہونٹوں کی جلن ۔ پروانہ ہے ہر کوئی، زار تو دیکھ۔ وہ اس کی گفتار کہ، یوں مول لے دل۔ کردے مدہوش دل مرا ، نار تو دیکھ۔ دھڑکن دل تھم نہ جاۓ اب کے یوں ہی۔ پہرن کرے اور عریاں، دلدار تو دیکھ۔ شاعر۔عبدالصبور سومرو۔ بحر۔ہزج مثمن۔

Javed Akhtar is a 'jauhari of alfaz'. But he always select words to satisfy the Muslim hating people. He also uses half truth to advance his narratives.

In terms of literature Mr. Akhtar has utterly failed to explain Ghazal not only Ghazal but also Radeef. He might have been successful in imposing himself upon Ghazal and giving his own meanings to Rind, Maikhana Haram et cetra et cetra. Wallahu aalam.

Javed akhtar failed lyricist hi jo kehta maulvi urdu ke villan hi, yeh batao ki javid akhtar ko Urdu me shayari and dialogue likhne se kisne roka . Kayee Muslims non religious sher sunte hai magar javed akhtar achi shayari aur dialogues ghazal likhne me fail hogaya hai isiliye log javed akhtar ke kuch bhi cheeze yad nahi rakhte.
