The run ups were good not sure about the actions Rodney Hogg was the closest action wise. Javed Miandad was a great character cheerful sole then he would do stupid things like sending batsmen off or standing his ground when given out LBW

When analysing do analyse the full thing. There are a number of KZbin videos available that show him walking despite being wrongly adjudged Lbw specially when in Australia There is the 131 he scored against Australia in 1983. There is a video of him taking on the entire Aussie team where even the commentators suggest that the Lbw will be debated for a long long time from the 1989 B&H, there is a 3rd from the 1992 WC and a couple of more that you shall find.

Mianadad was world class batsman, not bowler. He is world famous and best all the time ever produced by Pakistan. A lot of politics and empire wrong decisions soped mianadad to make a very big record. At that time ground were big, very heavy bats and style of playing was different.
