I think Khabib's greatest flex is that he never got cut and never bleed and won all the fight in a dominating manner. Sports like MMA and fighting high level fighters in UFC and never bleed. That is amazing. Jon Jones is great and Islam is great but their opponents managed to put some beating on them.

The fight/mma IQ of khabib is miles ahead of islam. With khabib the flow of transitions to advance into different positions was other worldly. Islam is a beast too but not the same fight IQ

Both fight IQ are similar but Islam loves to explore his opponent's game while Khabib forces them in his game. Khabib is a butcher and Islam is a surgeon with scalpel.

khabib has all the tools to force the fight fully in his domain, unreal chain wrestling, insane cardio, iron chin and the physical strength to keep guys down, islam is much more technical and well rounded, way better striking better submission, and uses his judo to compliment his wrestling

Islam might be technically better than khabib but let's not forget khabib never really lost a round he dominated every single round and therfore fight,and you always heard fighters after fighting Khabib that he just felt different strength wise while other fighters are not saying the same about Islam, they're just not.But Islam is still a great champion but it a completely different way to Khabib. Khabib lost the 3rd round vs Conor, and lost the 1st round vs Gaethje. Volkanovski would be a tougher matchup for Khabib due to Volk's very good submission defense and Volk is difficult to hold down since he is short and also a good wrestler. And Khabib's Tibau fight was close, I think Khabib won that fight but still Tibau won 1 round and other 2 rounds were close as well.

Yes Khabib probably lost a round against Tibau but officially he never lost a round. Islam showed some weaknesses but he always manages to win and if people are looking for single mistakes in your career, you know you're good.

Khabib is the only fighter in UFC history to have become a champion without ever suffering a loss, knockout, submission loss, knockdown or even a cut. The GOAT is arguable but Khabib is definitely the most dominant fighter in UFC history.

Islam is arguably the most complete fighter in MMA history and should be appreciated at this point. Javier, Josh Thompson and Ali Abdelaziz should stop saying that Islam is much better than Khabib because everyone expects him to only get 10-8 rounds and turn into Superman during his fights. Shame on them for this when Islam's skills alone can speak for himself instead of all this comparison and other nonsense talk.

Overrated lol.... He had DC , luke, cain, khabib, islam, usman champions... They won not entirely bcoz of him, but he was also a small part of them.... His coaching regime was good..... They emphasized more on wrestling in UFC/MMA bcoz of that AKA was popular....... Javier himself an kickboxer... And was striking coach.... But he saw Khabib,DC's and Cain's wrestling and made wrestling mandatory in all sparring session due to which most fighters in Aka are popular coz they were winning

Islam have like 2 head coach, one in Dagestan one in US. Javier would always comes first tho, because he is the oldest and OG (i presume)

Javier mendez left his striking coaching and now it is headed by other coaches in AKA.. Cain , etc Now he act more as advisor/mentor for fighters.. Javier himself said..... His son his transitioning into coach, and left coaching fighters but He coaches UMAR / USMAN for striking mostly and not others He does light sparring with islam, usman, umar not in during walkout but not in training

Loved DC vid say first thing that comes to mind. Nate Diaz, The way he says weed is awesome. Khabib I am a fan boy I guess with a chicken jaw, a little Sativa will help you at times. Real Talk and no i don't want to be near a ring with you. GSP keep your brain stay away, Khabib will change your face. And I like GSP your number er 2 now. Khabib's dominance is hard to replicate. Khabib takes you into his world and takes away all the air in your lungs whilst Islam enters your world and beats you at your own game. Poirier, Dustin and multiple other fighters have acknowledged that Khabib's strength and pressure was something they never felt before. Goats like Mighty Mouse and JJ included Khabib in their top 5 greatest fighters of all time. Whittaker and guys from other divisions couldn't stop talking about the guy and his display of wrestling on a tactical level. From never bleeding, arguably never losing a round (except vs Conor) to the footage of him wrestling lightweights and heavyweights as sparring partners. Its hard to question his dominance and supreme confidence whenever he stepped foot in the cage.
