@Ups'n'Down Bro yeah, regarding Cain, it's true what you said, he did get injured but what we saw from him, his potential and abilities, etc he was definitely one of the best, even if it was for a shorter time due to his circumstances. And Jones, I think his talent is amazing as well and he could've been higher up but because he was always using enhancers, it takes away from his wins. And besides that, even on it, I believe he lost 3 fights (1st Gus fight, Santos and Dom Reyes), so it takes from his greatness a lot. And in the process, if he lost to Gus, then, that would not only add a loss to his record, but it would stop his claim to his record of defending his title a certain amount of times, etc. DC lost to 2 people Jones and Stipe while I believe Jones lost to the 3 I mentioned... and DC was a clean fighter, never used any enhancers and a champ in 2 divisions. I also think, if Jones and DC fought at HW, it would have been a different fight. DC cut a lot of weight trying to make LHW, etc.

With the exception of Cain, most people put him somewhere around 15-25 because injuries and other issues shortened his prime. If not for injuries and health problems Cain and Lesnar would've gone down as the greatest Heavyweights ever next to Cormier and Stipe. I am a little biased towards grapplers/wrestlers since I've tried both fighting forms (standing up/striking and grappling) and I found grappling/submission/ground & pound to be the far superior and easier way to defeat opponents. The only time I would ever stand and fight is if the opponent was twice my size and I wasn't able to get him down to the ground because he was too fat and heavy. In that case there are still standing submissions I can use to break an arm, wrist, elbow, hand or finger. Once that happens an opponent is done. That's why I'm more fond of BJJ since it gives you way more options to dismantle an opponent, you can stand up and fight them for you can take them down to the ground. The Kickboxer only knows 1 way of fighting therefore it is an inferior fighting form and one that is very outdated and no longer practiced much by many people. Kickboxing is laughed at today by many, just like Tai Chi and Taekwondo. I can't even remember the last Karate champion the UFC had, like Lyoto Machida Lol? That was so many years ago. It's not my fault that everyone who is considered by most people to be the greatest fighters of all time just so happen to be wrestlers, grapplers and BJJ experts. That is because BJJ is the superior fighting form, practiced today by nearly all UFC fighters. Fighters who don't practice BJJ in the UFC get laughed at and crushed.

As for Jones and GSP everyone considers them to be the 2 best fighters ever PFP. And most people always have Silva, Fedor, Aldo and Khabib in their top 6. So my list is pretty accurate. Matt Hughes is widely considered the greatest middleweight ever, he's an incredible 45-9, think he has the most wins in UFC history and he's up there near the top with wins in MMA history. Widely considered one of the greatest grapplers ever. Cormier a double Champ in 2 divisions, beat all the best fighters of his era in 2 divisions, only lost to Jones who is the goat and Stipe who is the Heavyweight Goat. No shame in losing to them. Mighty Mouse is widely considered the greatest of all time in his division. Khabib is the only undefeated fighter ever. He's widely considered the goat of his weight division. Fedor is considered the goat heavyweight by most people. Stipe considered the goat heavyweight in UFC. Jose Aldo the goat of his weight division. So all these guys belong on this list. The only guy you can make a case for not being top 10 is Cain because his reign/prime was shortened by injuries.

But he's a smart and complete fighter who understands that to be a truly great fighter you must study all the Martial Art forms, not just little outdated Kickboxing lol. Literally the only reason for a UFC fighter to even learn Kickboxing is just so they can learn to kick better, that's literally the only reason they hire kickboxing coaches because its literally the only thing Kickboxing offers and can teach them lol. If they want to learn how to box they go to boxers, if they want to learn how to do everything they better go to BJJ coaches, if they want to learn how to submit people better and improve their ground/grapple game they go to Wrestling/BJJ/Sambo & Judo coaches. Kickboxing offers nothing really. Most of the time when they really want to learn how to kick better they will hire Muay Thai coaches since its superior fighting form to regular plain Kickboxing. Kickboxing is a joke nowadays. It was cool in the 90s when no one knew anything about martial arts, kinda like little Taekwondo and Karate lol. Which are now not taken very seriously by most pro fighters. Like little Kickboxing and little Taekwondo are great if you want to learn how to get the bully at your school to stop taking your lunch money or if you want to learn how to defeat some random person who has no MMA knowledge. But if you really want to get serious as a fighter and be a truly great fighter then everyone studies BJJ, Sambo, Judo, & Muay Thai now. Kickboxing and Taekwondo are extremely outdated fighting arts now. The only reason anyone would go learn them is if they had no BJJ, Sambo, Judo or Muay Thai training centers in their city/town.
