Para terminar con estos jefes, ahora fue el turno de Igniz.
Muchas maneras de hacer combos, infinitos, poder tras poder, y así hasta terminar con la vida del oponente.

Definitivamente el jefe más roto de todo KOF. Devuelve proyectiles, quita la guardia, tiene movimientos que se repiten abriendo la posibilidad de hacer ataques infinitos que no te dejan caer al suelo, además le añadieron moves antiaéreos, la mayoría de sus SDM y HSDM tienen prioridad ante los ataques enemigos, cubren la mayor parte de la pantalla y encima de eso le dan inmunidad. Eso sin contar que su HSDM en KOF 2002 UM tiene prioridad ante el 99% de los ataques sobre el piso de los enemigo y sin olvidar que sus ataques bajan gran cantidad de vida. ¡Larga vida al Dios Igniz!

Con Igniz si esquivas te hace un agarre, si saltas te hace un gancho, si lanzas proyectil igual te lanza uno que encima tiene prioridad y counter, si haces un especial te hace un HSDM que en la mayoría de casos termina ganando. Igniz el mejor jefe!!!! Cuando estaba niño y salió la kof 2001 todos en el barrio estaba de adictos jugando solo para ver a Zero y a Igniz aunque se perdiera era toda una victoria poder verlo en la pantalla en aquellos días.

Thank you Eolith. You gave us Igniz, one of the best final bosses of all time (plus his theme in 2001 is epic) I prefer Igniz over Orochi and Dark Ash. I know some people think the story of the NESTS saga was ruined because of KOF 2001 but I think it had a satisfying conclusion for all the teams. The ending for the Hero team is one of my favorites endings of all time :,) With a good enigma about Ron and Kensou's Dragon Power, something I know SNK will gave us a proper conclusion in the Ash saga. Right?... ...RIGHT?!

As I have said many times, The NESTS saga is my favorite because how the bad guys are humans. The NESTS saga showed the darkest side of humanity. In the case of Igniz... He is a delusional wannabe god who is a great manipulator. "The man when he believes himself a god....isn't that the biggest sin of all?" He and his organization ruined the life of so many just to achieve his selfish ambition. He doesn't even care for his creations (K', Kula, K9999, Whip...) he only sees them as tools. They may have been created by he who aspired godhead but they weren't born to be simply die away.

O Igniz é o chefão final do KOF 2001 e tem um SDM terrível capaz de pegar o oponente e empurrar (estilo Rugal e Krizalid) o oponente pro canto da tela paralisando ele sendo que depois ataca com seu "chicote",bate com a capa,usa energia e finaliza com uma enorme bola de relâmpago. Esse cara também tem como subordinadas a Foxy (com Diana) e a Angel. Ele tem interesse amoroso sendo que aparece na história e no Perfect. O cara tem satélite como apoio.

Como recuerdo que en el KOF 2001 siempre me preparaba para recibir una buena arrastrada por lo ridículamente roto que está este jefe, pero llegando el tiempo y cientos de pesos invertidos logre como llegarle y vencerlo y la primera vez que lo vencí fue por barra de vida y tiempo, primero con jaiba y después alguno que otro combo mas un poco de buena suerte y no descuidar tu defensa. Even though I never Played "KOF 2001," but Holy Crap he is so freaking Over Powerful as Hell in that Game, Far as I know is that *Igniz* is nowhere near as Close to Impossible Level as *Magaki* in KOF11 and *Rugal Bernstein* in KOF 94 and 95 (And all Versions of Him in 98 & 2002 Vanillas and UMs).

You should give it a try and play KOF 2001 In my opinion. Igniz is harder that many versions of Rugal (except Rugal from KOF 94, 95 and 2002 UM) Amd yes, I also consider Magaki harder than Igniz. But I still prefer Igniz as final boss over those bosses

Magakis moveset somewhat reminds me of some old indie games final bosses.. You see them projectiles randomly swarming into you while you charge/prepare for attack... He is indeed damn painful but Igniz was memorable... There's a chance he might come back in XV

@@meganinten0078 I'll might give "KOF 2001" a Shot someday, it's been a long while since I've played a KOF Game with the *Stryker System* in my KOF 99 Times, I heard that the 1 Playable Character get's his/her Health Bar becomes increasingly more Stronger when you put 3 Team Members as Strykers, that's pretty Cool. (And probably the only Way to Beat Igniz) Edit: And Heidern isn't a Charge Character in "KOF 2001" for some reason since I'm kinda use to his Charge moves in 98 UM, I'll see if he's really good in that Game.

Aunque si me lo dices prefiero la version del manhua donde Kyo e Iori nunca pelearon contra Igniz. K' y Kula fueron los que lo vencieron (K9999 ayudo un poco) con un ataque combinado. Me gusta más esa version porque prefiero que los principales de la saga NESTS sean los heroes. Kyo e Iori estan sobrevalorados ya tuvieron su momento

I like how in the manhua adaptation of KOF 2001, K' and Kula defeated Igniz together. With a little help of K9999 While Iori was on earth trying to defeat a corrupt Kyo (not a clone) who was becoming crazy because of his huge power (that manhua version of KUSANAGI)

I remember reading the kof2000 comic, but that was more than a decade ago. It was a great read. The last chapters I read off it was k9999 and kyo fighting in the arena, but k9999 lost to Kyo because of skill. K9999 had way more power than Kyo but couldn't really land hits.

That reminds me, isn't *Igniz's* Lover *(Misty)* still with *Ron* at this Point, I wonder if she will ever be Playable someday (Along with *Ron* as well)?

Yep. Misty is still with Ron as we can see in the ending for the New Psycho Soldiers team in KOF XI What a shame she wasn't a sub boss in 2001 KOF needs more female subbosses. Chizuru, Orochi Shermie and Luise are not enough In the manhua adaptation Misty fought against Diana, Kula and Angel.

@@meganinten0078 Sorry for the late Reply, My Power/Electricity went down during the *"Winter Storm"* in my Area, Yeah, there's kinda not many Female Characters that are portrayed as "Sub-Bosses" or even as "Final Bosses" in the KOF series, *Orochi Leona* was a "Mid-Boss" in KOF 97 and same for *Kula Diamond* who was also a "Mid-Boss" in KOF 2000, so clearly it's actually not that Rare. (Also does the Dream Match KOF games like 98 and 2002 count?)

@@joseurbina3835 Fair points. I think the Dream Matches also counts. It is not very rare to see female bosses in KOF after all. Too bad the Ash saga only had ONE female boss, Chizuru, and after that nothing. I would have prefer to see Botan as a subboss in KOF XI instead of Shion. The Maximum Impact saga only has Luise as the female subboss. I wish more people talk about her in the top ten more powerful female characters in KOF

@@meganinten0078 I Agree, I would have also preferred *Botan* as the Sub-Boss in KOF11 than that creepy *Shion* character, when I think about it, *Botan* actully has the most Screentime in the Ash Saga especially in KOF13 but she wasn't even a Boss or Playable in it, (What a miss opportunity) I'm still hoping for ShoryuGame to make a Lore Video about the Story in the "KOF: Maximum Impact" Games eventually, but sadly not everyone wants to go back and play or even remember, but it's not just "KOF: MI" it's also the same situation as the other Fighting Game Franchise like the 3-D Mortal Kombat Era and the 3-D Street Fighter EX Era. (Those were what People called: *"The Dark Times"* of Gaming)
