Brilliant information, my engine wasn’t going forward, just into neutral and reverse, took the gearbox apart n fixed what I thought was the problem but after assembling it back it now goes into neutral and forward but not reverse, I’m starting to think it may be something todo with the shift shaft?

It's hard to explain without seeing it, but it has every chance of being what you say about the shift shaft, check the routing of the cable that everything is correct

La broma de una transmision rota puede salir muy cara, te puede dejar tirado en mitad del mar, gracias por compartir!

Cualquier toque con la helice, te puede fastidiar la transmision, por eso es mejor subir el motor cuando creas que no hay fondo.
