After re-watching the debate, I am convinced that the Democrat party had already decided to dump Joe before the debate. They wanted to put a nail in the coffin during it in order to have someone else step in while giving off the appearance of neutrality in an attempt to garner trust from the independents watching. The moderators did cover for Joe generally but there were still several moments where they REALLY left him out to dry. Ask yourself, why would the two moderators from CNN all of the sudden seemingly conduct a more or less fair debate with Trump in it whom they absolutely lied about and spoke with vitriol against since he ran in 2016. Not to mention how quickly the analysts over at CNN, MSNBC and others were all in agreement about him stepping aside or how CNN even "fact-checked" Joe Biden's claims. That normally would never happen. I think he will be given the opportunity to "graciously step down in order to focus on his family." If that angle already hasn't been presented to his team by now.
