Oh mlb! You missed the chance to set up context on the first clip with Simmons/Darnaud. Simmons three him out exactly the same way a year before, and as the announcers were remembering how great that play was he hit into the same situation and the same play happened!

Ben Jeter's home/road splits aren't too far off actually. He had 9 more hits on the road than at home. 16 more HR's at home. .313 at home, .306 on the road. 273 doubles at home, 271 on the road. Pretty much every stat is very close.

Jeter was a terrible shortstop. A very good hitter and HoF hitter but a terrible, terrible SS by all measures.

I was expecting to see some Brooks Robinson, Roberto Alomar and Ozzie Smith plays. I would even include some Andres Galarraga and Don Mattingly plays from first base. It may be a good idea to do the video by position, making it possible to include some of the all-time greats.

Utley was here for 2 plays, but I expected his fake throw from the 2008 world series. Chase was never the most talented or athletic infielder. But, he was creative, and rarely made a mental mistake in any aspect of his game.

In what way? Jeter pulled a full MJ with the form. Only thing that would have made it best throw ever is if somehow during the jump he would have done the "Beast Mode" nut grab.

Spring training is yet to start and already 1 player is seriously injured, out for months. What are these guys doing to themselves that they need so much surgery? No one enjoys watching muscle-bound thugs strike out. MLB is killing the golden goose. Over 20% of major league batters hit below .200 in 2018. Only 1 field manager in all of ML baseball even knows how to play. Sell more Ads! Sox and Yankers will both win over 110 games this year because everybody else stinks.

The Derek jeter play is the most overrated play in the MLB. Just a commercial play, he opened his legs like michael Jordan. Jumping to throw just to make a simple play looks better. Is like Blake Griffin jumping over a car then his get all the commercials
