With all due respect to Gabriel, he is a wonderful vocalist, however, Putri is a genius not just a great vocalist. She arranges her music. She plays a wide array of instruments which includes the piano, the electronic keyboard, flute, guitar, drums, gamelan, etc If you watch KZbin, you will see that she also performs and then mixes a lot of her own music. My vote would be for Putri simply because she is a generational talent and artist who weaves a scene and a story with her music and vocals. She has a unique and sublime gift. I too hope they are both very successful and find good, honest people to guide them as they move forward.

Yes Putri and Gabriel both are have great great talent. Putri 17 yrs old has natural soulful voice she is able to sing so many different genre, has musical senses inside hers. I like all of your content man. Where you thought she faltered it was an Indonesian Yodel sound she put in there not a mistake at all I have listened to a bit of her music from before this AGT and she has used it before. I dont think she makes those kinds of mistakes with her voice. They dont nesessarily call it a yodel in Indonesia but it is a sound that they use in thier music especailly traditional music or folk music from that region of the world.

That cracked voice is a special phenomenon in vocal technique (teknik kaca pecah) which is not easy to do. Simon and all vocal coach's understand about this. Thank you for your reaction and support to Puteri. Gabriel is talented too but less soulful compared to Putri and Chakra Khan. They are a winner and a superstar already. We just enjoy their music and their talent and be happy.
