Jaw-Dropping Views on Cottonwood Canyon Road - Day 101

Cottonwood Canyon Road Utah was suggested to me for its scenery. Nestled in the Grand Escalante it’s an adventure motorcycle riding dream it’s split into Big Cottonwood Canyon road and Little Cottonwood Canyon Road and on the north end there’s BLM dispersed camping and also Kodachrome Basin State Park for more services. I went for wild camping for free. Camp cooking a steak and some bratwurst and preying for no rain. Moto camping solo in a field is pretty amazing with a good fire to fork meal over a campfire can’t be beat. Motorcycle camping at its best at Rock Springs Bench Campsite.
The road is a mix of dirt road, gravel road and sand and is easy for even beginners. The scenery is new every 10 minutes and never disappoints. It passes Grosvenor Arch and lots of hiking trails. Cottonwood narrows was the highlight of the ride.

Your comment in the intro is right in line with why I've described Utah as the best state in the country to drive through. Every 45 minutes it feels like you're on a new planet as the entire makeup of the landscape changes. Phenomenal experience.
