Comparing a tiger to a lion, King Cobra to a Python, a falcon to a condor, a horse to a rhino! (Pardon my comparisons - Just couldn't resist them!) ;-) I will be partial to the Jawa 42 because I have booked it and also because I think it fits my personality better (I am about 5'7" - the RE motorbikes are too big for me!). Side by side, although both motorbikes look almost equally stunning, I'd anyday prefer the Jawa 42! I mean, look at it practically. The RE Classic looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Dwayne Johnson with a huge, muscular body but I seriously doubt the utility of such big muscles in everyday life! The Jawa 42 on the other hand is like a younger version of Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise. Lean muscle and totally power packed. Ideal for both city conditions as well as for off roading and it also has classic good looks! Simply put, the RE bikes are like Harleys and the Jawas are like the Triumphs. Each has it's own niche, it's own fan base and it's own territory. And both are worth it (although my preference as I said, is the Jawa 42!) And the packed, compact engine of the Jawa 42! I absolutely loved it! Makes it look fitter, more defined - like Jason Statham, if I may say! I must say, excellent video! Thank you for the same Footloose Dev. Looking forward to more from you. Seat is really a disappointment on Jawa. Especially for the pillion! Jawa could easily increase the length of the seat. There is enough room above the rear mudguard. Classic legends should gather the public reviews and implement these small modifications on both the bikes.

Jawa is definitely better than RE 350 and 500 engines because they deliver more power and same torque...very less vibrations..liquid cooled engine...Fuel injected engine...light weight...good ground clearance....

I had test drive in jawa yesterday at showroom.. and been one long drive in RE classic 350.. so my experience i share here.. jawa initial pick up is good while compared to RE.. RE is worst in off roads.. i dont know abt jawa i dint ride off road. RE above 50 vibration.. jawa till 80 its very comfortable.. abov 80 i dint ride.. becos its a short test ride drive... Lookwise i RE is better, strong, heavier than jawa.. jawa looks very small and low hieght infront of RE.. my hieght 10.11 so jawa seating not comfortable for me.. RE bit comfortable seating and ride.. but in one word : RE or jawa ... harley davidson is best 👌👌👌🇮🇳😂😛

@@footloosedev1990 HD gives 15 kpl with 10 L capacity fuel tank gives you about 150 km before refueling. Not an everyday use motorcycle and even for occasional rides not for long rides. RE may not give you as much attention but you can ride it everyday and it will go 450+ km between refueling.

It's too early to comment on Jawa but Jawa's effort to be better than RE looks more cosmetic than sincere. It's engine is same as Mojo, which was also launched with much fanfare but fizzled out.

What we don't know about jawa yet is their servicing networks...cost of parts and are the new Jawas reliable cuz the old ones surely are! The waiting period is also too long...like 8 months and also after that they are telling that you may not be alloted a bike after that xd If a person wants to buy jawa they should probably wait for a year and have reviews out by owners just like Sir footloose Dev... you're doing a great job man!

Pls keep All the specification aside main thing comes is your siting posture and ride quality for riding any bike as my height is 6.3 when I sit on jawa my legs get cramped, so in my opinion the person with height above 5.10 should go with RE, both bike are beautiful and they are not made for any track both are crusier and for enjoy ment , a 200 cc rtr has more torque so it doesn't make any sense of it. Jawa is good it's all about posture because u want to ride that's main and important thing.

You're right RE isn't best on highways too beyond 80 its vibarating machine and experienced many issues while going to trip, infact silencer fell separate from my friend's RE and we had to fix them back. Still you can take out for touring and ride slow, have fun. Other side Jawa too is like a normal bike for city roads not for long trips.

What is the difference between the royal Enfield Java -----------------------+----------- Royal Enfield full of desert camel riding vibration. Java is completely smoothly moves it's liquid cooled engine. completely vibration nil. Handling both my own experience.

Vibrations on RE start at 70 kmph, if speed was your priority you'd never look at RE but go for KTM or even Apache, the reason people own RE is for the entire package of an engaging driving and owning experience, thump, road presence, decent mileage, and ease of maintenance.

Jawa is awesome but the one downside in Jawa is it's seat. I feel that the seats should have been quite longer toward the back. It's really very conjusting if the rider wears a backpack and decides to have a pillion.

Bro Iam frm hyd recently purchase Jawa classic by seeing all your vedios catchup with lot of interest and finally bought Jawa to home. Watch some videos on how Australian REs are different from Indian REs and you'll find out. And I was talking about the difference in specifications, technology and the building material, not different models. The technology theyre offering in India has no place in Australia and other countries 😅
