FYI: Janet was almost in Avngers but was cut from the late scripts. FYI2: Hope was cut from Civil War. FYI3: Janet has the 23tg most comic appearences in the whole 616 but she never has her own solo/mini. FYI4: Marvel hates Wasp.

+cullen bloodstone There is no Hope Van Dyne, and I really wish people would stop referring to that character like it's something other than a made-up piece of crap from Marvel Studios. Hope Pym is from the MC2 alternate universe and she's the villain known as Red Queen. But there is no Hope Van Dyne who takes over as The Wasp, and the amount of disrespect that Marvel Studios has shown Hank and Janet all for that Brit moron Edgar Wright is insulting.

FYI Hank Pym's first wife, Maria Trovaya appeared in only one Ant-Man/Wasp story in Tales To Astonish #44 published June 1963. First appearance/death in flashback.

The Wasp's supposed to be featured the first Avengers film. In fact, Joss Whedon, stated that the original script for the Avengers as very "Waspie". Eva Longoria was rumored to play her and she's been spotted going in and out of the Marvel studio before filming. However, when Scarlet Jo became available for Black Widow after Emily Blunt turned down the role, they rewrote the script to remove the Wasp and include Black Widow. The sad part about that change is that they only had room for one female Avenger at the time. The Wasp was also in the concept art for Civil War, but the Russo brothers decided to debut Black Panther & Spiderman instead. And she's also in the first draft of the script for Dr. Strange 2 as one of the illuminati. After five Avengers film, as a key member of the Avengers, the Wasp has yet to join the Avengers in the MCU (not counting Endgames) which is very disappointing in my opinion.

Wasp was the last human alive for some time in Uncanny Avengers and had a daughter with Havok. Cool stuff

I agree with Jason that the best wasp story is still to be written. It would be smart to relaunch the character as a team-up book with old Janet and inhuman teenage version. Marvel seriously lacks sidekicks, and another character like ms marvel and all new ghost rider would be a smart move.

Bee's are horrible. Have you seen the 1990 movie good girl. The bees kill the home alone kid. That documentary was so sad at the end. We never saw the home alone kid again.
