It was the 6th highest grossing film of 1978 and it was a sequel that 100% did not need to happen the ending of the first movie was fine made perfect sense blow up the shark all done Roy Schneider didn't even want to be in the movie was bound by a contract to be there and even most of the people doing the special effects didn't even want to be in the movie I do think it's a decent film but it's a movie that just did not need to happen ​@@FlockyFlock17

I miss Chief Brody. R.I.P. to an awesome actor, one of my all time favs Roy Scheider. The best movie scene ever is the one where they use the Vertigo aka Dolly Zoom shot as he sits on the beach with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

Actually there's no cigarette in that shot. There's one aboard the Orca when Brody's chumming and the shark suddenly appears.

I still never understood why the shark went backwards in quality. The first shark was way more realistic to me than this one. You would think as time went on they would make it look even better than the first film. They certainly had the budget too.

Movies back then were absolutely magical, in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion".

@@robbillington1982 exactly I saw an interview where he said those were the only scenes left from his work and boy were they great there will always be that what if he did his version don’t get wrong I love Jaws 2 but the Hancock version was suppose to be Darker way Darker witch is quite interesting because jaws 2 is pretty dark.

I like the scene where Chief Brody laces into the committee at the table in the town hall. That’s a shark coz I’ve seen one up close and you better do something about this one coz I don’t intend to go through that hell again. Excellent delivery.

No, a lot of the sailing and beach scenes were shot in Navarro Beach, Florida. It's obvious by how white the sand is compared to MV. I have The Making of Jaws 2 and the majority of it was filmed in Florida.

I think Jaws,Jaws 2,and Jaws the revenge were are kind of alike in many ways.Jaws 3 was different it was wierd like a 35 foot monster great white shark breaking into a sea world park come on thats lame 😂😂
