Max Eisenhardt Well to be fair, and I don't want to be that person, Jaws Shark (or Bruce) is not a regular sized shark and most aquariums don't house Great Whites. But yeah I can see why running from a creature you'd expect to see in an aquarium would be dumb since your protected by a layer of glass.

I mean it was fine, but the movie dropped a lot of the asinine plot distractions of the the Brodys’ strained marriage and the shady business connections of Mayor Vaughn, which is never hinted at in the movie. Ellen even sleeps with Hooper in the book and Quint is far less interesting.

Actually, one might argue that the film series would've been a greater success had Spielberg stayed.. Jaws 2 had some great moments, and was overall a good movie.. I loved the line, "That's a shark, and you better do something about this one, because I don't intend to go through that hell again!" Jaws 3 wasn't that great but had some really good acting from Quaid, Gossett Jr, Armstrong and of course Thompson.. My favorite line from Jaws 3 is, "Overman was killed inside the park. The baby was caught inside the park. Its mother is inside the park." and my favorite scene is when FitzRoyce gets swallowed alive... Jaws 2's best scene was when Eddie got knocked off the boat and Tina's horror when she she's the shark.. "Swim Eddie Swim!" Of course we all hated Jaws 4's story, Shark's taking revenge against a family for years, first one chased Mike to Sea World and then the last one chased the rest.. The best scene from 4 was when the Shark went for Thea and ate the hot blonde instead.... The best line from that film was "The bloody breath on that thing!"
