Good point, it does disappear! I've seen Jaws countless times and I've never, ever noticed that. 😄

Even when the boat is sinking there is no sign of the chair .

It comes apart in 3 pieces. I carefully separated my Orca boat from Jaws. I ended up rebuilding both of them it took almost a year but the results were worth it. I had to replace some of the plastic with metal and aluminum to make it stronger. I replaced the windows since mine broke.i even built a shark cage for it that the working crane can move it. I thought about selling it but I don't think I ever will cause to me it's priceless. I wish I could post pics of it on here So everyone can see the results but It won't let me do it unfortunately.

I think we were all scared to go swimming in the sea after we saw this film as a kid. Haha Really detailed piece. Wow 250 quid in a charity shop. I think I would have left it there too. At least you had one already. and with 2 of these you would need a bigger shelf! ;)

I still don't go in the sea ............. The charity shops look on ebay an charge the same hehe I have got good stuff in the past from them but its rare now. I need a bigger room to put the bigger shelfs in !!

I collect Sideshow statues, Hot Toys, but I have to say this is still the greatest toy I've ever seen. I'm a huge Jaws fan and this is like owning a piece of the movie. Anyone who has this in their collection is extremely lucky.

I probably got it from my local forbidden planet but it might have had been called something else back then hehe Its one of the things I'm most glad I got it really is a holy grail item for a lot of people !! An thank you stay safe too 😁

I currently have this, I purchased this back in 2001 brand new, but stupidly took it out of the box and threw it away , but I still have the Quint character. Very cool piece

I'm glad I took mine out of the box it looks too good to be left in box. I did keep the box ........its one of my top "figures"

Remember buying this way back when it was first released.this was 1 of my very first movie figure collectable purchases,looking back I so wish I purchased a few of them now. Especially at £25 what I paid for mine brand new boxed. :-( This item sells for crazy money thesedays. Still very much enjoying my own. ;-) I don't think this Jaws figure could ever be beaten. For me it is a proper classic & awesome very well made deluxe Jaws diorama piece. ;-)

@@Returnoftherocketman I see 1 sell on ebay a few years ago at £800 boxed, it wasn't even brand new or mint either. Used & displayed. Also still 1 of my favourites within my collection. Very strange why KZbin would do that, its not like I ever write anything horrible or nasty or offensive to anyone. Just chit chat about great figure items is all. There is an I get to say what some of the words on the list are.......but if you spell them differently it doesn't notice them ! I have love those 3 films the first is amazing the 2nd is a great sequel that fells like a good fellow up to the characters . 3 is cool because I have been to sea world in Orlando Florida were it was filmed and my friend who i mentioned in the video worked at sea world when they filmed it. The shark from the revenge was sat at Universal studios Florida for years .......still looked fake .....

With a deeper base, they could done Hooper hiding in the rocks knowing what was going on perhaps? Maybe a clear resin base to represent under water with other little fish swimming about?

That's not possible sadly. It is all 1 moulded plastic piece.Would have been cool if that was possible. ;-) I've had mine since when it was first released. A piece that has lasted very well,no fading,breakages etc. A real bargain at the £25 I paid for mine brand new mint & boxed. Was so very lucky I picked it up way back then. :-)

Sadly that's not possible. It is all 1 moulded plastic piece on a single base. Still a really awesome piece though and definately remains 1 of my favourites. ;-)
