Fire Department Full Response To School Structure Fire, Special Train In West Virginia, Norfolk Southern Fast Train Gets Speed Checked By Radar & Thomas The Tank Engine Real Steam Locomotive In Pennsylvania On Strasburg Railroad. Mount Orab Fire Department Live Action!
My radio alerted me to a structure fire at the Mount Orab Elementary School just minutes before school let out. My daughter was picking up Bryson and she filmed the fire trucks responding and the fire fighters enter the building with air packs and fans. She got some pretty good footage. For those of you new to my channel, most of my content is trains so I put a few on after the fire call. I used to be a firefighter so I have interests in that area.
The fire was a dishwasher in the back of the cafeteria area. The place was full of smoke and the school announced that the school would be closed the next day due to the fire. There was minor damage except for the smoke and there were no injuries. I have a lot of Shorts videos with fire trucks and other emergency vehicles responding to calls. Subscribe so that you will get notified when I post. You can listen to Mt Orab Fire Department on 154.190 and you can isolate them from other departments by programming in 151.280 if you don't use CTCSS.
The trains are a sample of what I film. I have videos from all over the USA and I am planning on travelling to Iowa in June to film trains.
This video features a Santa train in West Virginia, a fast train with a speed check done by radar gizmo and this video has a steam train in Pennsylvania. The steam engine is a real coal burning steam locomotive. This is Thomas The Tank Engine and not one of those wagons that they push around. This is a real steamer.

A great job filming the fire department response! You called the air packs SCUBA gear. Having been a firefighter you should know better, JT. They were SCBA packs. Different than SCUBA. Not criticizing JT, only correcting. I was a hazmat response team member for 10 years. It was still a fabulous clip, by the way! 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤

Hi Brian! "Live Action" at school let out. Bet the kids will be talking about that for the rest of their lives. That older clip of the autoracks, there was 3 big graffiti. Those are usually parked at yards, so that just shows lack of security for how much time and effort they require. You ought to make a song about those two Whooping Cranes at the end. Walk Like a Whooping Crane to "Walk Like an Egyptian " or something like that.

My junior year of high school, 1988/89 the bell would ring at 2:35pm to end the day. One day the fire alarm sounded at precisely 2:35. So we evacuate and there was thick black smoke coming out of the windows of the laundry room directly beneath the room of my last class of the day. Fire apparatus from 7 or 8 towns descended on the scene.

I've got a thing - it's called "radar love". Thank you, my friend, for the radar shots!! I'll probably get a lot of flack for this, but I'm just not a fan of 'Thomas'. Not sure why, but I cringe every time I see 'it'. The Strasburg Railroad is fabulous, and then as far as I know, there's still East Broad Top Railroad over there also. I'm not certain because even though I'm a native Pennsylvanian, I'm a westerner and rarely get east of State College. Yes, that was the annual Santa train with the passenger cars. CSX is one of the top 6 railroads in the USA but they dont have track from coast to coast. They are mainly in the midwest and east

Your daughter, Leslie, did a wonderful job of covering the fire incident at the Mt. Orab Elementary School. I enjoyed her portion of the video and her commentary. That was a nice sample of some of the train videos that you added to the fire incident part of the video. The steam powered Thomas the Tank Engine at Strasburg, Pennsylvania is the only Thomas the Tank Engine that can move a train that I have seen. I know from personal experience that the Thomas the Tank Engine that appears at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois is a non-powered version.

i got to see a cxs coal train yesterday if it had not snuck up on me I would of filmed it, I was riding a bike trail in ohio and I went past a train place (where I could see truly how big those tankers are) looking for a train none came and we were riding back to the trailhead and there it was it was booking too, too bad I did not get enough notice to get my phone out. such a pretty trail, the plants and flowers and trees were so pretty and blue skies too. is it cxs or csx? lol, anyway it was cool next time I am on that trail and will be better prepared. we seen so many crittors too. what was cool about the tracks is it was elevated above the trail, if it derailed the cars would flip over and down.

None of his videos are just about trains. He always incorporates his pets and sometimes his family, although not usually at the beginning. Personally, I enjoy the format. Not only does it keep it fresh, but I think it shows the balance and priorities in his life and gives us a glimpse of the people and places behind the hobby.
