Another awesome video! Lagrange, railfan paradise! All monsters today. Allot of nice graffiti. I think that's what auto racks were really made for 😂that's what makes them tolerable. Just glad the last one was not. Watching the names on the racks saw all the class 1 railroads represented. The auto racks are good at night, the light reelects off the shiny metal. I have filmed it several times and just got it a couple days ago in Hamilton Ohio. That must take a lot of time and energy to paint the whole side of the car. 7:44 I too remember seeing cars out in the open back in the 1970s. I also remember crossing the rickety bridge on the east end of the BN Eola yard and feeling sick at the sight of a brand new car with a smashed windshield right by the bridge which was obviously the place from which someone launched a very big rock. Autoracks - the railroads couldn't live without them today. That bridge which was so much fun for the Northern Illinois railfan is also long gone. Memories from a bygone era.

I was listening in on 158.835 and heard them say to turn them on and then they all came on. Last year they had a child flip a fake switch to have them come on

La Grange KY is my favorite place for watching the street running trains going through the middle of town on Virtual Railfan and great to see you there in La Grange as they get ready for Christmas with their decorations at night this is always nice here with their Light Up La Grange especially with trains going through. I watched the light up night and parade on the la grange live rail cam. Pretty cool. Not long after the parade a train came through. (Same one on your video. Lol). Hope to make to la grange one day just for the rail fan experience. I have a few places on my list.

Recently found your channel. Enjoy it a lot. I grew up in Baltimore and still live near Baltimore. Lots of railroad history in Baltimore. I was a local truck driver for 44 years and I would see full NS car carriers going into the Dundalk Marine terminal with cars to be exported and depart with full carriers with imported cars.
