1991 started out with me being deployed to Saudi Arabia for Desert Shield, which by mid January changed to Desert Storm. I didn't return home in Atlantic Beach until the end of May.

I graduated from Sandalwood in 1991. I also remember vividly sitting in traffic waiting to pay a toll to cross the Matthews bridge with my parents. The difference after the tolls were gone was definitely memorable!

In 1991 I was working at Southside Blueprint Service on Kings Ave. I got to witness first hand a lot of the changes that happened in Jacksonville.

I was just thinking about Jacksonville in 1991 the other day. About going to the Bowling Alley and gyms at Cecil Field in 91 and 92. Great Video as always!
