Thanks once again for saving me from what I feel was going to be a mistake. They are currently in my basket, then I decided to look to see if you had reviewed them - tada!! They are getting taken out now - phew! I am always so appreciative of the effort, time and expense you go to for your channel subscribers. You are an absolute star! ❤️🎨🖌👩🏻🎨🙌🏻

Ich finde das Video wieder super. Sehr interessant. LG Judith

Thanks for this review. I own the Neocolor II and am also looking to expand my palette without breaking the bank. I suspect these are made by Mungyo in Korea for Jaxon. This is the case with Jaxon Oil Pastels, which have the exact same numbers and names as Mungyo's oil pastels. The good thing is that the Jaxon watercolour crayons are available open stock via Gerstaecker -something not possible for the Mungyo crayons. Thanks again for this review. It was very useful!

I used Jaxon to get into the medium, for beginners the Neocolor 2 are already expensive. Then when I was inside I also got Neocolor 2 and love both.

These look very similar to my Mungyo watercolor crayons. The color arrangement, the shape of crayons, the white paste covering the crayon, the solubility, the hard feeling you described is also there. I think they are the same product. Wow!

One difference I noticed is your light blue dissolves really well and color looks bright whereas my light blue dissolves the worst out of the bunch and the color is weak. Damn 😔

The white waxy coating you're seeing happens to lipsticks too, and chocolate with a high fat content. It's called sweating. Just like we perspire. It happens when they're kept in a less stable environment with fluctuating temperatures. It isn't indicative of age. It isn't dangerous and shouldn't have any impact on quality, but that doesn't mean that it won't. It's always best to use your own judgement.

Oooh thank you for the explanation :). You are completely right, I did not think about the chocolate at all but I definitely saw it there as well XD

The carran d ache has the white coating and I've seen loads of videoes that show to just wipe it off with a tissue, it's nothing to docwith age, sweating or storage, don't know why companies use it but they do

Lack of lightfastness info would be a dealbreaker for me. Thx for vid :)

I think I have not found any other brand with lightfast inf except for Neocolor 2 hmm but I still have to check other brands out. I have Lyra here to try out, I will ckeck if they have lightfast ratings. Thank you for watching :)

You are not doing due careful diligence to disolve them. I saw another video where they completely disolved.

Ah it would be good to know which paper they used, could you tell me the youtubers name so I can check :)? The paper can really change the outcome but there are so many papers out there that It is difficult to find the right one
