Jaxscer on Addon's : How to Setup and Use Vuhdo

Hi Raiders, my name is Jaxscer, and I was a Guild leader in the raiding guild Hellfires Fallen on US Thrall.
I main Blood DK, "bettyDeath a Disc Priest "MyBettyWhite" and a Warlock "Ajaxkiller",
I am not an expert, or a elite player but these videos are meant to help people just starting, or refresh veteran players about the different aspects of raiding.

Hey! I have been using this addon a LOT, even on non healers, thanks to this guide. Its a complicated addon - and Ive come back to this video several times. BUT - I have a problem now D: I seem to keep hunters pets showing in my one and only panel, which I have setup pretty much exactly like you show in this video. What setting might I have missed? (It is not in a seperate panel, its in the main (only) panel, showing as if its a player). Any help appreciated!

Great video! when you cast atonement in the top corner it keeps the count, out of curiosity and I may use it, what addon is that?

I actually do not know what one it is but I am sure it was a weak aura, and you can make them quite easy or just go to wago.io and search atonement and Import someones that they shared.

I need help about scanners and how they work if possible. I tried using the arrow to guide me to where the person who's out of range is. And it doesn't show in battlegrounds. Only in nature.

I think that part of the API only works in PVE, not positive but it would give you an unfair advantage in pvp

Great vid, Jaxscer. One question: You mention at 15:17 about the disc priest not wanting to change focus off the bad guy so that we can continue to do damage. I get that, but there are times when I want to set my focus on the tank, let's say. In the default Blizz setup, you can click on party members to set the focus on them. Is there a setting to also do that in Vuhdo?

you can set a tank window/pane so really not needed.

I think that may be DBM or another addon.

@@Bidzil91 so in DBM options if you are in general options you can turn off range. Not sure about powers as I am in the classic dbm atm

I honestly do not know as I stopped playing was a while ago, but it should, or a weak aura would work

Does this have an option to not to cast to a player if he is out of range? it seems if the players is out of range or LOS it self cast to the healer

I think that is a wow default setting in wow options, not a vuhdo setting that I can remember.

Figured I'd ask here. I'm trying to set it up so that when doing a 5 man dungeon I just have it set up on the left like the default WoW group, and when in a raid group I want it to be a 20 group setup where it shows me my main tanks, dps sorted, and healers. But I can't figure that out.

So you need to save two different profiles. And then use the check boxes to make the profiles load for each sensation ie one profile when 5 man one profile with all others checked

@@Jaxcesr Ive tried doing this, and for some reason I get two problems. First, when I heal in a dungeon and come out it sometimes doesn't switch me back to my Balance druid and the health bar on my left so I can see my own box isn't there either. I have to open VuhDo again for it to reappear. And no matter what I do when trying to set up spells, it always auto loads my Resto spell setup, even if I'm on my Balance druid for questing.

how can you target someone? when I click someone's name to heal yes I heal them but I don't target them. It locks on the last person I clicked on.

you need to set a bind for target, I think I used middle mouse button, there is also an option I think in the spells tab under "Misc" Called target that can be seen at 15:10

I am in a group by myself and it disappears after a few seconds when I exit the settings. Is it because I am alone?

Yes. But it should show you. Unless you have that clicked

i have to say i just wanted to use vuhdo for the frames when i do heal (every now and then) and i just wanted mouse over macros, maybe a video or help with that, i don't really like left clicking and right clicking cuz i use those to control the camera, but i have a mouse with like 16 buttons so i just have stuff there, everything i need basically

Oh yeah, I gave up wow a while ago, but you could use Grid, and use Clique or just write macros for all of them .

Hey every1! I have a small problem with VuhDo. When i set texture for my panels, it applies, but after relog get back to standart one all time :( I tried diffirent textures, it`s same. Maybe some1 have same problem or know how to fix it?

Make sure you are saving as your defualt. I am currently unsubscribing from wow so can not get in to check

How can I see players role like tank heals or DPS

when you hit the move it allows you to choose what group to check. the buttons can be seen around the 3 minute mark.

I am 90% sure looking at it it was part of the elvui, although I had disable a lot of elvui around then. It may have been a wago.io weak aura though as I had a few different WA's for tracking my neck xp and level

Could be many reasons, addon conflict, corrupt install( I had an issue after an update last week), hidden icon (try /vuhdo show) or try moving other addon icons, disable and reenable and reload.

/vuhdo opt should pop up the window if the addon did properly load

Anyone know how to make it so you can tell when someone is out of line of sight? -It fades out when they're out of Range (Amazing) -Doesn't do anything when they're out of LoS

@@hellfrost333 if you go to 10:54 and see where Menu is typed, Just type target and it should add the Command tag auto. So my Menu is keybound to shift Middle click.

Sorry, I no longer play wow, so can not test anything. Glimmer is not a hot though so I would try adding it to a custom bouquet and tracking the spell like priest used to have to do for atonement.

Would not have helped a lot as this was caused by using a cheap headset mic, and post processing and compression to get that mic to not sound like complete garbage which it was. De-essing would have undone the rest of the post processing, but I agree I could have spent more time post processing to try and reduce some of the silibance caused by my voice.
