As long as it’s Gold on silver I have no issues, you can’t call it fake because it’s real jewelry just can’t call it 100% gold but that’s ok with the crazy prices of gold the average guy can’t afford. I went to a bunch of the websites that have in these videos at least the box clasp from Daniel jeweler's to Luke zion and the only chain I was able to find with a box clasp was like 13mm. Why can't any of these companies use anything besides the lobster clasp? I can't stand that clasp , it just looks like an after thought on the jewelry and it just looks cheap in my opinion. Idk why they put these things out and then their website has nothing but the lobster.

If vermeil is always silver underneath and only 2.5 microns and one human hair is like 50 microns wouldn't the sandpaper completely demolish the plating in seconds? The amount of gold in gold plating is unbelievably small. When we plate we do the thickest coat possible and it's less than $5 of actual gold. That's cranking the voltage and depleting the solution 4 times faster than recommended.

@@romeobrown1121 All plating fades based on mechanical wear. Silver tarnishes, especially sterling silver since it is only 92.5% silver with the rest being copper, typically. Solid gold and platinum will not tarnish but plated will always wear off and tarnish eventually, unless it isn't worn.

A lot of cheap chains now a days gold gods king ice all that shit usually plated over brass which is cheap then sometimes at the mall kiosk you buy chains that's base metal is zinc which is heavier then brass and gives it a slighty better feel. Plating gold over silver is nice because you have the silver weight and the gold plating which makes it feel solid. The thing is the pricing of these Jaxxon chains is throwing me off no way that's real 925 silver for those prices it just doesn't make sense does it come with a authenticity slip ? The prices are really good even for silver then the plating too? Just doesn't add up something fishy about it

Most cheap plating is 5 micron....that's the width of 5 atoms. The fact the Jaxxon held up to multiple swipes, by hand, of low grit sandpaper is impressive. It's obviously higher quality than Walmart/Wish/Flea Market Kiosk gold plated jewelry. The price is more than fair for Iralian .925 with quality plating.
