A brief history: There is a saying in Ashanti Kingdom "wo kum apem a apem beba", Which translates into "Kill a thousand and another thousand shall rise". Ashanti(Or Asa-nti) empire were warriors. Several clans were united by Okomfo Anokye (Native Priest Anokye) during a meeting, when he conjured a golden stool from the skies and it landed on the knees on one of the clan heads. His name was Osei Tutu and he became the first king of the Ashanti Kingdom. The name of the empire ashanti (asa-nti) means "because of war". They conquered many territories and even defeated the British at some point. **dom is "a crowd", but in this context I think it means an army. **kumerica is a mash-up of the words Kumasi and America. Kumasi is the Capital of Ashanti where the artistes are from. America because their hiphop lifestyle/culture Now the translation: We are an army We're not one, We're not two, We're not three, We are an army kill a thousand and a thousand shall come We are an army When you hear Kumerica know that we coming in numbers mmmmmmm.... 'cos we are an army

The song translates as: WE ARE A MULTITUDE IF YOU KILL THOUSANDS, THOUSANDS WILL COME this was and is the motto of the Ashanti people and Ashanti King of Ghana. In the past, they told the British they could not kill all of them because if they killed thousands, thousands would still come to fight them. They believe their ancestors never die. They live in them.

"Y3y3 dom" means we are legions or we come in our thousands. "Wukum apem, apem b3ba" means if you kill thousands, thousands will show up This is cultural depiction of ancient tribal warriors. Contrary to popular belief, the Ashanti tribe (one of the oldest and greatest african tribes) was the only tribe to fight the British Army against slavery. This resulted in the loss of many lives and kings. The clothes they're wearing were ancient tribal war costumes believed to have spiritual and protective omen
