This game reminds me of Princeton over UCLA in 1996. Low score, Princeton keeps Arizona from scoring in the final minutes, Princeton ends game on a big rally, and moves on shocking nearly everyone. Pete Carril would be so proud of this team

i mean its a problem with the sport really... college basketball is a trash heap. Its basically designed for crappy teams to knock off better teams. They need to extend the 3pt line, and lower the shotclock... It would be nice, if refs were under one banner instead of conference to conference... its wildly inconsistant from conference to conference.

I picked Princeton because of their style of play in addition to how close they were in their last two appearances vs. Notre Dame (2017 - 60-58) and Kentucky (2011 - 59-57)

What's the common denominator with Virginia Arizona Purdue other than they all lost? When game pressure creeps in and things get tight/stagnant bc the team who's "supposed to win" hasn't found separation by the time the clock shows 7:00, a team MUST possess a player who has the ability to go get his own shot. Create his own offense. Break you down off the dribble and get to the rim, or get sent to the line trying!!! None of these teams have that guy. It's really that simple. Beakman can kinda do it but not really. This is why you never deep run teams like this in the tourney!

I guess most of us haven't seen, as I haven't either, but Princeton does have a good basketball program for an Ivy League school historically, as they've had a Hall of Fame coach in Pete Carril in perfecting Princeton offense, and getting to the Final Four in the 60s with former US presidential candidate and a Hall of Famer in Bill Bradley leading the way. Not sure if they are going to sweet 16, but I remember Cornell making it that far not too long ago, so I may be wrong.
