I RECORDED THE VIDEO. MY HUSBAND WAS THE DRUMMER. JAY STILL SOUNDS GREAT. HE PERFORMED AT THE CASINO BUT I DIDN'T SEE HIM GAMBLE.

At 72 the man can sing good as ever! If he just didnt gamble so much. Wonder if they originals are still going to reunite ! I dont care for the new lead singer. I really like Jay, I hope he takes care of himself, and keeps that wonderful voice !!

@Gloomsterswife Little shaky, but he's doing what he loves and he'll try to hit those notes till his poor heart bursts. And now I'm crying.

I understand Dawn. I give him credit for still loving to sing and wanting to be out there even though he isn't what he used to be. I actually did know a singer from Wisconsin who sang Cara Mia equally as well as Jay, who sadly passed much too young in life. I'm glad I still have his recordings to remind me of his greatness and all the music of Jay with the Americans is preserved too so we can remember them all at their best.

holding that note on DIE is artistically pointless. And when holding a note, ya don't just wander around on the stage, you do something with it expressive with your body. sorry, but its sad.

Well it’s really just part of the show he used to do. That’s what the fans want. Too bad he’s gone now. In his day I’m sure he’s a much stronger singer than some of the stuff that’s out on the Billboard charts right now. People pretending to sing like Stevie wonder. That’s if they are singing. And not and not blurting out profanities Lol
