Really, really useful interview. Thank you so much for having Jay as a guest. By coincidence I ordered AMZA earlier today (already own UMI and AMLP) and had no idea of this firm infracap. Now unexpectedly I got to see the man behind the curtain - and learn his valuable insight on many topics.

Dave, An excellent interiew. Truly a Big picture man. Struck me as a person who seems to be selectively "deaf"!! How he can "tune out" all the noise and focus on things that matter is remarkable. Though I am not a fan of Corporate tax cuts as I am old enough to have seen trickle down ecomincs fail(!), Mr. Jay Hatfield put forth his convincing thesis about corporate tax cuts being more effective for investments than the "shiny" politically expedient personal tax cuts which lead to consumpton and not growth or investment. Thoroughly enjoyed this intellectually stimulating conversation. I am glad he agreed to come back later this year. Best wishes! See you later with your/our mail bag!! 🙂

Had not heard that argument about taxes vs. tariffs and I really appreciated Jay's perspective. D

Bravo! Finally an articulate man who can explain tariffs, corporate tax cuts and how they affect the economy. I am so sick of hearing about tariffs and how they will crush us with inflation. Also, how corporate tax cuts are a giveaway to the billionaires. Tax cuts bring in more revenue and that was proven in the last round in 2017 and also when President Reagan did them. I have my opinions on the economy but I will let the charts guide my trading. Jay Hatfield did not talk charts but his explanations were spot upon in my humble opinion. I love covered calls. Thanks Dave for bringing him on. Like most people I like when I hear someone who agrees with me 😊.

Great interview Dave. Wondering if you have any concerns on the HIGH expense ratio of PFAA (2.52% ?!?!). ICAP also has a HIGH expense ratio at 2.96! In my opinion, JEPQ yields about the same, has OUTPERFORMED ICAP since inception AND only has an expense ratio of 0.35.

With active managed funds, higher fees can be justified through higher returns. All part of the due diligence process of evaluating funds/ETFs I would argue! D
