Once saw him at House of Fraser in Milton Keynes back in the day with his wife shopping. She picked up a lot of handbags running into thousands of pounds. When it came to paying the till operator (a young white boy with braces) was racist (in my opinion) he refused to accept Jay Jay's credit card suspecting it was a fraudulent transaction because he spoke with a heavy Nigerian accent. Being the humble man he is, he just smiled, pulled out a brick of £50 notes totalling over £10k and said will this do? The cashier accepted the cash but he had to use the pen to ensure they were not fake note. The security guy was watching all this on CCTV and came down to ask, do know who this? This is Jay Jay Okocha. The next 5 minutes the place was full with people asking for pictures and my guy was smiling and taking pictures with fans.
