MJ having lip sync'd 90% of his "live" performance, it makes Jay Kay a much better live singer in reality. I admired MJ talent but he became more and more a dancer and not a singer...

@scottfulps2065 Jay Kay's moves and approach have nothing to do with MJ's. Nothing. Jay found his own style based on his skateboarder's talent and many other influences. Jay Kay is unique and free.

Thats not that happened at all. They were laughing at him thanking her for putting up with him even though hes a grump bag and she had 2 kids to take care of. The band would've obviously been with Jay when recording so they would've been privvy to the mahem going on his and his wife's lives at the time, and they probably know what he means when he refers himself as a "grump bag" too. Othwise why would they laugh at him thanking his wife/family? Its a perfectly normal thing to do at an award show, nearly everyone does it.

It was nice that he paid tribute to Toby. I realise that he namechecked Matt and Rob for co-writing a lot of the songs, but he could have namechecked Paul, Sola and Derrick - particularly the last two who've been with him from practically the beginning.
