Yeah I totally agree with you. I can't speak for other labels, but i recall an interview with Brave Sound in which he mentioned though he liked working at YG , the only way to be flexible was to leave the company. In the company, Teddy only can work for YG artists, but Brave Sound can work with anyone and on his schedule. This is why most people become composers, its more flexible because you're a contractor.
