It would be terrible the guests wouldnt open up because the show would have too many production staff, contracts and eyes on set. its like saying your favorite podcast would be better if it was a show on Fox, CNN or MSNBC and the opposite would be true because of how a big corporation will change the atmosphere for the guests and the format of the show (commercial and sponsors for one). the way it is currently Shannon asks the questions he wants to and the guests give the answers they do because of the comfort level, its best this way.
