It’s comforting to hear them not toss Tyra to the dogs. I’ve rewatched several seasons and yes, the language is sometimes cringe BUT we have to put things in perspective. And Tyra has done a lot and shouldn’t be dismissed because of a few mistakes that we’re all guilty of.

A little after 17:17 I had to stop the video. Lemme tell you why. Things were about to get juicy. I was on the edge of my seat. Jay was about to actually tell us something that *HE* experienced first-hand during judging and production, when all of the sudden... he STOPS and begins BACK PEDDLING, and changes the subject completely. I felt deceived, I felt bamboozled. All I can say is I hope Jay is getting a big ol' check out of Bankable Productions (if the company still exists, or maybe it went down the drain just like Tyra Beauty) because his beautiful and sexy lips are not spilling ANY worthwhile tea. Sutan, you're a gem and very, very smart and likeable. Mr. Jay, you're fucking gorgeous and talented. ANTM achieved the success it had because of you. Best of lucks with your book 😊

This cycle is one of my favorites. There were so many amazing models to come out of this cycle. Whitney in my opinion was a great winner, she went on to be a great and successful model. Anya, Kat, Dominique, and Fatima all went on to be incredible models. I remember seeing a video of Kat opening a fashion show in Italy!

There's only one r and it's in the rz it's Katarzyna,not Katarrzyna. Also Kasia from cycle 16's the same name, just shortened probably because it's so much easier to pronounce.

^ANTM BEHIND THE SCENES-DIRT FANS ATTENTION REQUIRED PLEASEEE‼️‼️‼️* I love this, I am unfortunately unable to watch it live as I’m always busy Fridays at 12pm EST, but if ANYBODY is reading this comment who has a good memory and who watches this live (or maybe even jay Manuel himself sees this), when they get to season 12, can someone PLEASEEEEEEE ask them about the altercation between Tyra and Natalie when Natalie was eliminated. Allison did a AMA (ask me anything) on reddit a little while back, and she confirmed that when Natalie was eliminated, Tyra and Natalie had some REALLY harsh words for eachother in the judging room, to the point that Someone (she never said who, but I’m assuming Tyra or production themselves) basically threatened to have her escorted out if she didn’t stop trying to argue her case and just leave. Allison didn’t go into further detail as she ended her sentence with “oops, I think i said too much already. I’m still contracted.” Of course she did say it never made it into the episode. That reddit thread is still up btw if anyone wants to read it, but I’ve been DYING to know the tea on that, and it’s been YEAAARSSS since I first found out about it during the AMA, and it still hasn’t left my mind, so please ask them about this when 12 comes up because I’m nosey and need to know lol

I look at Whitney's runways and her photos...and no no. She just doesn't strike me the way other models this season or even other plus size models from the past. She 100% does not look like a high fashion model, not because of her size because Tocarra LOOKS like a model, hell, Diane looked like a model. I know Jay says he is interested in all the girls, but the consistent unwillingness to correctly pronounce Katarzyna's name is telling. I think it was just Paulina, Miss J and Nigel that paid her the respect on the show. Or were willing. People really underestimate what a power game it is to take someone's name away and play with it, especially concerning an immigrant. Not a good look, time for a makeover. Katarzyna was too good for the competition and the show was not willing to pay her the respect (same with Anya and Fatima). They want a story of growth. So when someone comes in fully formed and hitting each ball out of the park, they try to put them in their place, break them down. Katarzyna was consistently underscored and mocked her name. Anya was consistently mocked for her accent and her heritage questioned. Even more interesting is that there is a pattern of this being done to the contestants that were born abroad. Oop.

I don't think Fatima was a villain and I don't think she was portrayed that way often. I think Fatima was misunderstood because of her background.
