2009 was the year of pop music. You had Jason Derulo , Taio Cruz , Mike Posner , and so much more. Man this song bring back memories of me being in the 9th grade. I remember I was playing this song on my ipod and my crush heard me singing it. I was so embarrassed but damn I wish we could go back to 2009 .; At least wrestling was better , life was easier for me , basketball was better , family time was better and so many other things. Life seem to get worse by the day and it's sad. For instance in 2009 , basketball was so good. Kobe and the lakers won the chip. They aren't my team but it was so cool to see that. Now when you see it. It's no competition of how the team had to get there to win. Wrestling was by far better with ones like jeff hardy , cm punk , edge , and jericho. The summer time i remember having more friends , hanging with my father alot and just enjoying life. My life is bad now but i'm trying to make the best of it.

I'm betting my money on that life was more meaningful back in those days and I blame social media for the most part. Not that they're somehow evil or that they didn't exist 10 years ago but these days it feels that the trend has only amplified and people aren't doing as much stuff as before. Feels like people live only online anymore. Might just be a feeling also and that I am getting old. :D

i remember the summer of the yr this was released, our small town has this presentations every night until our town's fiesta. i was still a child. now in 2024, i can smell the same summer breeze like before and playing these nostalgic song to bring comfort because adulti g is so tiring.

I remember this song being played all the time on the radio because it was around the time I met my wife (then girlfriend!) Life was so much fun and exciting, with this song being the soundtrack to our adventures. Back then we had unlimited energy and never felt tired lol Now we are middle aged people with a beautiful daughter. Different kind of love. Both great! But these songs bring back so many memories.
