Jay Slater: Spanish Rescue Team Find Body

Rescue teams in Tenerife have discovered the human remains of a young man in the same area where British teenager Jay Slater went missing.
A spokesperson for LBT Global, the missing persons charity working with the Slater family, said “Although formal identification is yet to be carried out, the body was found with Mr Slater’s possessions and clothes”.
The Spanish National Police said in a statement that they “could have died due to [an] accidental fall on the cliff and inaccessible area where [the body] had been found”.
The Lancashire native went missing 29 days ago, after attending a music festival on this island.
Jay went off with some boys he met that evening and was last seen near the home they rented, far from where he was staying.
He was last heard from when he called his friend Lucy, saying his phone was low on battery and he was lost and thirsty.
A search and rescue operation was launched after Jay was reported missing but authorities found no sign of him.
The mountainous terrain complicated the search.
They scaled down their operation two weeks on.

Have you seen the place where he went missing right? The terrain is probably up there with one of the hardest places to search for a body, the dense bush with the mountains makes finding a body unbelievably hard, along with the fact that past a week everyone knew he was dead anyway so effort to find him wasn't as much as of a priority
