I really can't see that he was in the spot for 28 days without being found, there would have been scavenging animals and they have Vultures (Egyptian) in the Canaries they would have sniffed him out straight away and been circling above and there was also the cadaver dogs that would have defiantly found him. You don’t get vultures in Tenerife . The vulture your on about is extinct in Tenerife, and you don’t get carnivorous dogs ether 😂. The biggest bird of prey is a kestrel or falcon, and they are few and far between, I used to live on the island, and we had a 1 kestrel that lived around our area,and it would only hunt and eat those small lizards, so you’ve watched to many cowboy movies if you think they’d be a swarm of vultures circling a corpse,and a load of wild dogs 😂 not in Tenerife 😂

Tend to agree, last actual evidence of proof of life was the clear footage of Jay inside the festival. There's no further film or evidential proof besides the word of a few tight nit friends. Wheres independent members of the public saying yes, they seen Jay anywhere other than the festival? ( Anyone who are not associated with Lucy or the Airbnb ) Just one independent picture, film or sighting of him leaving the venue willingly. We have no real evidence Jay even had his phone, the blurry last pic posted on it is sadly one that no one can agree is even Jay. This will remain a mystery who done it. I’d love for the truth to come out and get justice for Jay but I feel the spiders web is too tightly woven and everyone selling a narrative. He went out there to peddle, took too much of what he should have been selling, or lost it, and ran up crazy debts. Went with people trying to help or sort it, but either realised they weren't help, or heard people were coming for him at the bnb. So he went on the bounce, away from the direction the threat would be coming from, freaked out over seeing a car or people so took a path to get off the road and avoid being seen, got dehydrated and was coming down, so unfortunately slipped and fell.

For me, all "word of mouth" is irrelevant.. the fact is his last known proof of life was at that NRG festival. Everything narrated after that means fuck all to me. So where's ANY proof thereafter that he even left the venue. There's cameras that should have caught him leaving, so why isn't there any footage of that. For all I know he was taken from the festival against his will. FACT is there's no actual proof Jay even left with others willingly, he could have left with those he went there with for all I know. No one has actual proof or real evidence of anything after the last clear film showing Jay off his box.

How did nobody see him apart from Ophelia along that long trek at 7.30-8.30am? Why did Lucy react so fast and miraculously turn up at the AirANB. Why could it not have happened earlier? It would have been dark then so easier to mistake the way, get lost, and come to harm. If it was earlier he could have been part or completely out of it. Like he was at the rave or more. Debbie says the picture in the car looked like Jay was asleep or unconscious. The timeline has so many questions. Often the timelines prove or contradict the narratives in mysterious death cases. Nobody has tested the timeline at that time of the morning. Ophelia statement is critical and that of Brandon’s who was with him at the Rave. As is the people in the car that Ayub moved his car for.

Sorry Harsh, I'm with Andy below, a body can't lie in a ravine for 29 days and not be found, Cadaver has a very pungent distinctive smell that would have been detected by Humans probably but Dogs for sure, usually after 3 days! The Finger Print identification is suspicious after 29 days in the Heat? I don't think he ever made it to the Air B&B that was just convenient so there was an approximate location finally as you say push him over the edge after 20 odd days in captivity awaiting a 30K ransom payment.

Pretty sure it was MWT who said Jay left the Air BnB scared with two kitchen knives. But how would he even know that unless Brad or Lucy said he said that in the supposed final calls? I know a certain person played a clip of Ayub and Rocky and Rocky saying he was asleep in the car outside, but equally that person does love to cut, edit and manipulate things so that they mould to a certain narrative. Ayub is manipulative, think we all see that, even from when he was the ringleader in the D rug trafficking and Rocky was following. I've always had a hunch, may sound insane, that Ayub actually tried to 'P Diddy' Jay in some way, hence Jay was intimidated and used the knock to move the car as a chance to make a swift departure and went off track so as not to be seen. Also explains walking swiftly in the opposite direction for fear of Ayub jumping in the car to find him walking back along the road. Might have even been too embarrassed to tell that to Brad or Lucy. I would expect all of Jay's friends to be feeling some element of guilt, purely for letting him go off like that, which may impact their behaviour and what they say. Perhaps they have been blaming each other, we don't know. I just know I don't buy the Tom Hilton boat story either, all that planning and multi layered person involvement. Unless TH had a reverse tachyon express so he was there in a flash to use his silencer. It'd all appear in reverse because, well, tachyons! As for the full beach video, the images just don't match the sounds or words. In enhanced audio the guy doesn't say 'Quack Quack' at all. Just so much nonsense and active imaginations and people playing the game for views and dollar and plenty of gullible people. After going through it all, I believe he left to get away from Ayub, my reason may be wrong, but it's possible, and what happened was indeed a tragic accident. That's my closing case unless some-one comes up with something actually proven and convincing. I'm sure the poor family have had enough. RIP Jay and peace to the Slater family.

The Jay case has absolutely drawn me in…and that’s because I feel so passionate about getting the truth!! I felt like this from day one when the beautiful lad went missing and felt summat was a miss… I can’t explain it..but felt so emotional and heartfelt sympathy for his mum… I guess it’s because I have kids and grandchildren…Jay reminds me of my eldest boy..big smile..fun loving..same hair style etc… Sorry for waffling guys…I find it hard to explain… But the truth needs to come out and whatever bad is going on needs to be stopped. One genuine question mate: Who said that Jay Slaters “clothes” were found “by his body”….? Harsh, I really don't think he fell because the height he fell from his body wouldn't be whole 😢.Also, the smell would be overwhelming. It's these two things that make me think he was placed there. If your theory is correct, then going on that, I think Jay went back to the B&B to 'carry on partying' eg keep taking substances, however, my theory is that Rocky and Bullwinkle or maybe Brandon (or one of them) had been supplying jay on tick all night and when he went back there, they asked him to pay up before he got any more. Either an arguement happend because of this or jay fled thinking he'd get away without paying and the rest we kind of know. I dont think Ophelia saw Jay, i think that was Brad. There are some things that i dont like though, like Brad saying he was having nightmares about something he saw. If that was true, what did he see? If he saw Jay after the fall, surely he would have told authorities where the body was? If not why was he having nightmares?

There is a lot of repetition. And a lot of spinning the same content. I think what we all want is a confession or an admission from someone who knows something concrete or verifiable about happened and which may further solve the case. MTW tells us he is our best hope, but he just stirs the mud until the water becomes far muddier than it was before. IMO he's perhaps worse and more damaging than the KZbinrs who are honestly trying to find some meaning to this case.

If anything, looking at all the facts, this theory could fit. All jays friends ain’t saying nothing on camera (they knew?). Brads interview with his smirks but had to act dumb. Not many tears from family interviews. Questions over the body situation (ref Debbie’s interview). Jay got bladdered on his last night hence videos of him in the club tripping balls. The footage of the same night of men running to the boat, which the boat location cut off maybe his back door out the country. Absolutely no evidence of Jay at the ABNB. The confusion over who sent who screenshots to prove a fake location of Jay. Also the ABNB owners who are or were political could pull strings to allow this happen. Conveniently the owners of the Airbnb let Ayub use this for the cover story, as there was probably no other BNBs in that required location and the owners decided to put up the bnb just before this was to all go down… What do you think or is this gobbledeegoop? To me it’s patently obvious what happened. I don’t use the word “believe” because I don’t have facts to back up the use of the word so I can only “suspect” what happened to Jay. Nonetheless all the clues are there staring us in the face all along or at least since the identities were revealed of the 2 people he went back to the Airbnb with. All of it makes sense to me. In suspecting what happened I fully understand every action Jay took. Nothing doesn’t add up at all and I don’t know why people are still perplexed by it. There were no aggravating factors. There was a certain degree of covering up or at least parts of the story have been withheld but I fully understand and respect why and I think so would Jay. Why do people just not get it yet?
