Yeah this was dope I've heard it before . Jay is definitely my favorite. I don't think people catch slang of the tri-state area that he tosses sometimes. Every city has their own dialect and it comes out in their Hip Hop. If I hear stormzy from London he's going to be talking things that I don't have a clue what they mean. At the end of the day , J for me , is definitely personal favorite. Yo thinks for this one cuz it's been a minute since I heard this

Top 5 for me, 1. UGK, 2. Nas, 3.Beastie Boys, 4. Jay-Z, and 5. Sa Roc. Some are for the writing and the message, and some are just dope all around. Y'all should check out Sa-Roc: Forever or Revolution, she is an amazing artist that I feel is overlooked because she doesn't play the female sex icon, but as far as intelligence and message, she's killing almost everyone in the game, male or female.

Sorry sorry I got an afterthought. Don't know if you've ever heard this before but a lot of people try to claim that if Biggie had never been killed then Jay would never been as Big as he is or was from the beginning. So they say that because biggie was killed it left a vacuum open right there in Brooklyn. What I'm fixing to say is hip hop blasphemy. Rest in peace to big but I never thought I should put him in the talk of the greatest. I do not mean any disrespect to him at all so if anybody resist don't get it twisted because I don't have any disrespect for him. I'm just saying that personally there was something that other people saw in Biggie that I don't see. I know nearly that everybody else sees it. I have Tupac as a better artist and more talented in different ways than Big. Tupac was a poetic activist IMO. Then on top of that he had a promising acting career.

I'm with you on that, dude was ok, but not one of the greatest in my opinion. His beef with Pac was like an early MGK and Em, kill shot ended MGK, made dude go pop, and as far as Biggie, tell me you listen to hit em up by Pac, and then tell me that wasn't the end. Pac broke all the rap beef rules, he called folks by name, and put in scenarios that were true, he didn't hint at nothing he just straight said it lol. Also, to touch on your previous comment, music that comes from where you're at is gonna make more sense, I'm from Texas, that's why I have UGK as my number 1. Speaking of which, Jay and UGK big pimpin, one of the most iconic tracks in hip hop history.
