Timbaland is a fuckin' beast!! The beats this man cooked up 1996-2007 were phenomenal and insanely addictive especially during the 1999-2002 era. No one was fuckin' with his or Missy Elliott's productions. The dynamic duo were churning hit after hit during this era. I'm so envious of you 80s babies, y'all had it made during the late 90s/early 2000s lol, wish I had been older to experience it more and appreciate Timbaland's dominance in the music world.

Yes kids watching in 2019 and beyond, ALL late 90's videos were like this. Ridiculous over usage of slow motion, Dutch angle camera shots in every scene, and some one walking slowly towards or away from the camera forlornly. The music was GOOOOD

Jay-Z really owes Amil big time. She slayed the hooks on myltiple songs in early days of his career. He should give her a bag full of cash as a thank you gift for helping launching his career. Without her Jay-Z would've probably been a nobody
@TokaiXL-z3g2 ай бұрын
They say the same about Foxy Brown. They forget he wrote every lyric and adlib, and because he repeated it with Amil, proves he never needed Fox, neither Amil. JAY-Z should be studied in marketing, he knows how to put the pieces at his disposable and compose a viable product, like no other rapper in history. All who say he needed Dame Dash or Kanye West or Beyonce or whoever, just don't understand and appreciate his genius. He had friends in the industry, DJ Clark Kent and Irv Gotti, but chose to launch his career with Dame Dash, because he saw a value he could exploit in Dame Dash''s crew, The Best Out. Their style and popularity in the party scene in NY fit perfectly with Jay's Jiggaman era.

Man I love hip hop because it's just recycled music so you never lose the roots. Ab-Soul - Terroists Threats "Spit your game, spit your flow, can't fuck with this top dawg shit though." Is obviously taken from the end of this song. Hip hop is so beautiful man. I'm blessed to be apart of such a great culture. I can only dream of making songs as good as those two..
