No. An album is not automatically 'classic' just because it's dope. A classic album redefines and revolutionizes the genre of music it takes place in. Illmatic did that, and while all of Nas' albums were wonderful (In my opinion), and it can even be argued that he's had better albums than Illmatic, none of his albums after Illmatic truly redefined Hip-Hop/Rap, as oppose to how much Illmatic did. I understand your point of view, but an album being great alone does not make it a classic.

Cam kill Jay on "you gotta love it." Alot of people say Cam had no business comming at Jay, but after the roc split up, Cam was on the side with Dame and Jay was on the side with twista and what not. When dipset was with roc it was also signed to Kosch records (Im not sure if thats how its spelled) Soafter the roc Cam move 100% on to Kosch recods, Jay Z said something about that in a magaize or something, (Negitve about Camron and Dipset) so Camron came back at Jay with his song, rehashing Nas

@toby100035 No, because atleast BIG had the better sense to not futherly escalate tensions between the warring East Coast and West Coast scenes, while 'Pac (God rest his soul) decided to go on ahead and be Suge's fucking attack dog, which eventually took the lives of both MCs. And might I add that atleast Biggie had the balls to go perform promotional concerts in his former friend's state b4 and after Pac's murder in order to bridge the divide, while Pac was hiding in Cali while doing Hit Em Up!
