All i gotta hear is “NYMP the realest” man can nobody tell me otherwise. Jay the GOAT. Its like he talking directly to you. Not “prophesizing on your cd’s and tapes” ⬅️The day ones will get that

This some more of that classic Jay-Z shit. This is why we call him one of the greats. All those cats who hate on him in recent years dont know this Jay. This aint no Beyonce shit haha, this that classic shit when he was STILL tryna become one of the greats. He hadnt gone corporate yet and wasnt that friendly yet. He still had a certain sense of depth and wasnt for everybody musically. Super hip hop. These old school Jay-Z reactions have me missing these days. 9th 10th grade with the fresh air forces and the durag brushing the waves before school haha.

Its about the streets, New York Marcy Projects. Hold my toast (gun) tight
@lbagz2027 ай бұрын
So Jay is not talking in codes...he's actually speaking to the streets for the streets and whoever outside the streets don't get it, don't get it. He's speaking about his time of hustling in Marcy Projects. When he says hold court..he's talking about maintaining his section of the projects from others trying to take his spot. Toast=Gun, Hot Apple= NY(Big Apple) is hot from heavy police presence as well as other elements that present a threat to his way of life. Big numbers= Lengthy prison sentence, Math = Money to make. Feds in Mercury Topaz= Undercover FBI agents drove unmarked vehicles mostly were Mercury Topaz's !!

There are 2 bonus tracks after the outro

@Kingjames313 I knew it was one,wasn't sure if it was two, I think it's different versions of songs depending on what batch of cds you bought

I assumed someone had explained this the first time you said you didn't know what it meant, but "toast" is slang for gun

If you knew that NYMP stands for New York, Marcy Projects you'll figure out exactly what he's talking about.

Now,the million dollar question, what song will we get next,depending on what vol 3 album she has,because i think there was different version on cd copies and hidden tracks. Almost had a heart attack,i think I was playing a video game while vol 3 was playing and it ended, About 1 minute later, "Jigga,Whats my name" coming blasting through with that bass, My heart almost jumped out of my chest and i loved every moment of it.

I concur, I had the bootleg version in '99 which had extra interludes/ tracks that didn't end up on the official copy.

@JustJayReactions Can't wait to be surprised on what version you have trying not to say what song might be next so you will be surprised too. THIS is a great and underrated album but toward the end it was a "good song,bad song" so every other day couldn't wait to get to the "good songs" from your reaction especially leading up to my birthday but through you reactions I learned to like some of the songs because I wouldn't listen to them but had to,to listen to your reactions for them,thanks sincerely. I had to go through jay's discography last week to see what was next, thinking it would be the blueprint starting on my birthday but it Turns out it will be the dynasty. I was a little mad that it wasn't the blueprint and it was the dynasty but the dynasty is a good and underrated as well, just a dark album but good. I think you going to like the dynasty as we learn your taste but I think you are really going to like the blueprint. I cant wait to see what you do for my birthday March 18th. If you going to my request "I can't get with that" or if you're going do the intro off the dynasty or both,don't tell me surprise me. I want to tell you once again I appreciate and I'm sure others appreciate what you are doing and especially leading up to my birthday. You are doing God's work "God did" Another jayz side mission for you. "God did,Hov did"

There was a Hova Intro, Hova Interlude and a Hova Outro. She reacted to the Hova Intro, she missed the Interlude but probably will react to the Outro

I don't feel like he's spitting in code, he's saying everything pretty much up front on here. Now a lot of those songs on reasonable doubt, he was talking in codes. But i agree what you said about the ab libs. I kinda hate that you even got me to notice that.
