It was his tour lol clown that’s why he went last jayz is who he is since reasonable doubt bro this was 99 that album came out in 96 real hip hop heads know who jayz is there’s a reason he’s there too and on top of the game now

You must be stupid for such comments when Jay was the main highlight the tour was jays album Hardknock life

No they weren't. The only artist you can argue that point for is X and Hov still had the larger fan base and presence in hip hop.
@tamirsharif314 Жыл бұрын
@mfundomkhize In the year 1999 Jay was one of the biggest super stars in hip hop music the only other hip hop artist equal to Jay's superstar status during that time was DMX. So you are incorrect Jay was not the least the lesser artist far from it.

@whoknows43792 жыл бұрын
Pac was never that crazy of a lyricist. Dude made very conscious music but wasn't conscious himself (played the ignorant thug role), and his pen was basic and average. Nothing that special. When people tell me Pac and BIG are the two greatest hip hop artists of all time I immediately know they don't a single thing about hip hop. Talking about "have you ever even heard Juicy?" pretenders. Embarrassing.
@FlyAwayChi2 жыл бұрын
@@whoknows4379 You sound dumb asf, and most importantly what do your culture vulture ass know about REAL hip hop?? You didn't live it, breathe it, or were surrounded by it growing up..hip hop isn't in your pores...It amazes me how you people who are not of our culture have the nerve to act like your opinions hold so much weight..knock it off smh
@whoknows43792 жыл бұрын
@@FlyAwayChi And thatd still be smarter than you, pretender. I know absolutely everything about it. I live it. I breathe it. It is VERY MUCH MY CULTURE. You saying "our" like its not universal. Born and raised in NYC (the mecca of all things hip hop as it was literally started here) and have been ingrained in Hip Hop since I was a child. I guarantee I'd lap you in any aspect or area of Hip Hop and its history. FOH. You could never see me. It amazes me how you have no idea what you're talking about yet wanna make assumptions like a female. Embarrassing. Not opinions. Its fact. I forever will be infinitely more well versed in Hip Hop and more ingrained in this culture than you will ever be. Again, embarrassing. To reiterate: Pac was not special. Nas is the GOAT.

@@whoknows4379 Delusion....pure delusion. You saying Pac wasn't special omits you from any credibility in a hip hop debate. Period.

@whoknows43792 жыл бұрын
The rap game??? You mean the hip-POP/R&B feature game. Dude barely made hip hop records. Just a bunch of radio friendly pop hits and guest verses on females R&B songs. Even when he tried to make legit hip hop like "Clap Back" or "New York" it was garbage. He had the worst verse on the latter. Both Jada and Joe had better verses. Ja was never that dude and got punked and checked his entire career. Then he tried to plan a festival (Fyre Fest) and it ended up bring a fraud flop. Embarrassing.

Every hip hop/rap artist, not to mention almost every musician in every genre in general, all did something else before they blew up. Most of the time it was some menial garbage like burger flipping. Em was flipping burgers and washing dishes before his LP, Ye worked at Gap, Kendrick was a security guard, Ross was a C.O., Method Man worked the concession stand at the Statue of Liberty (fast commute from Staten), Pharrell worked at McDonald's, Cudi worked at a supermarket, TTC worked for FedEx, MGK worked at Chipotle, Bey swept up hair at a salon, BIG worked for UPS, Pac was a literal BALLET DANCER (embarrassing), B.O.B was a "sandwich artist" at Subway, Cardi and Eve were both "dancers" (we all know the kind), Nicki was a waitress at Red Lobster here in NYC before getting signed, dudes like Hov/Pusha T/Jeezy/Gucci/Fab and more were hustling, Frank Ocean worked at Fatburger, Big Sean was a telemarketer, Plies was a nurse lolol... I can go on and on. Point being: Everyone was something else before they became what they are now.
