I am currently a full sail student and ran across this video while doing some homework. I am a 39-year-old retired veteran and now full-time campus student here in Orlando. I'm a little more than 3 1/2 months away from graduating. The message in this video is very accurate, and if you do want something strongly enough in life, you have to bet on yourself. Full sail has been my dream school since I was 15 years old. I see and hear too many people badmouthing this school establishment but the way I see it is that those individuals are the ones that could not keep up. Like the gentleman in this video, I came to full sail for music production and fell in love with the show production side. It truly is the best-kept secret of Full Sail. Though I produce and have also been a DJ for many years, I felt that show production has a wide variety that will make you successful once you're schooling is complete. This is due to the fact that you learn everything from lighting, live audio, studio audio, broadcasting, installation, live video and editing and the list goes on and on. For me, I felt this was a much better place for me to learn the skills necessary to not only know how things work but it also gave me the capability to become a better producer in the studio and out on any given tour. I think this video is my favorite Full Sail video so far. Anyone looking to go to the school that is reading this you must do your due diligence and make sure you are able to physically, mentally, emotionally keep up with the curriculum and hours. You will be obtaining a four-year degree and as little as 18 to 20 months so if you think this is a party school or someplace you will be able to kick back, relax and obtain an easy degree then you are sadly mistaken. Life is a hustle so you better bring it to school also. It is not for the faint of heart or someone who is lazy. I just wanted to put that out there for the ones reading this and getting bad KZbin research results while trying to look into colleges. This video is excellent, and I look forward to more in the future. Keep up the good work!
