"Flying birds down south"... Griselda Blanco "The Cocaine Queeen" from Colombia who lived and was locked up in Miami was one of Jay's plugs. There's a movie about her on Netflix.

The bar with Busta Rhymes being animated, Busta said he was offended at first, but after thinking he was like "I am animated" and laughed at himself. It wasn't a dis, it was praising his style. Busra, Missy Elliott, and Ludacris are the most animated artists in hip-hop

Dehaven was Jay-Z's childhood best friend/brother they met at age 9/10 coming home from school Dehaven found/stole a bag of cocaine, split it with Jay when they were 13, moved to New Jersey at 16 and grew from corner boys to drug lords together, that's 1983 - 1990, then they began have their falling out. Spanish Jose was their first plug Hov didnt stop hustling without Dehaven, but he'll get more into that later

that epiphany/magnitude moment you had as you got through "Lucifer", about "The Black Album" being one of the greatest hip hop albums of all-time: if you haven't already had that moment with "Reasonable Doubt", "Vol 2 Hard Knock Life", and "The Blueprint" you will eventually. It's all autobiographical gold by retirement he'd dropped 8 quality albums, 4 certified classics. He's got six classic albums total, more so than any other Hip Hop act, but i'll let you get further before we discuss the rest Greatest discography in Hip Hop

The way Jay chooses beats and flows on those beats is only a talent he has. Only Big had that too.

@samarie ironically Ja Rule had an album called Vini Vidi Vici before The Black Album, so there's that! But Julius Caesar apparently said it first after conquering modern day Turkey!
