Bastion's Ironclad was 35% when introduced on February 28, 2017, and it was subsequently nerfed to 20% 3 days later on March 3, 2017. The main reason it was so overpowered is because this was also the update where they made his Self-Repair not be interrupted by damage, meaning he could just sit there in turret form taking 35% less damage while also getting 75 health per second from his self healing along with whatever healing he was getting from his supports.

Also this was before there was a cap on dmg reduction. So nano had it's full effect on top of ironclad.

Miss Internethulk :( i remember starting to be a fan of his only a few months before he passed. The fact that it happened during blizzcon was even more depressing at the time. Almost 6 years now, wish we could go back. The way the IP was mishandled, promises never delivered, the most interesting people leaving/being let go/passing, leagues and tournaments being railed by Blizzard all for promoting OWL, a complete change in team when the team was the best part about everything that was overwatch. Never seen a IP fumbled this hard.

I have an idea as to why getting a 5 man wipe doesn't feel as good as a 6 man. It's cause if you came from the 6v6 format for years, you can't escape this feeling of, "We missed one somewhere! Stay alert!" 😂😂

for me it’s because in ow1, the tone that athena says “sextuple kill!” sounds like the climax, but now we can only get up to “quintuple kill”, and she says it in the same tone as she does when there were 6ks, so theres anticipation in her voice but theres nothing after that.

OWL is bad for OW. Those clips before were amazing and now this highly polished turd we call OWL is supposed to beat that? Nah, disband OWL and support many, but smaller tourneys. With a couple of big gems in there. Meta defining changes happen in the other tourneys. Mirrors happen in OWL. Which one is more fun to watch?

Talking with the one of the beginning points about 6ks, I agree! The difference between the feeling of a team kill on 5v5 vs 6v6 is a quite huge in my opinion

As someone that never played OverWatch one but plays a lot of Call of Duty and OverWatch 2 I can completely agree that six kills is way better than 5 kills I don't know why but when you get 5 kills you're just expecting that one more to show up that one extra piece to top it all off and you don't feel that when you get six kills because six is enough 6 is a lot
