Well actually Rebels and The Mandaolrian is after Return of the Jedi film. So the tv series Ashoka is taking place in the New Republic era and before the rise of First Order time line. In addition the tv series Acolyte is during the High Republic era. You should see the new canon timeline.

I've been a fan of Ahsoka since she was introduced in The Clone Wars animated movie and a fan of Rosario Dawson for many years now. She IS the perfect choice for a live action Ahsoka. Ever since she was fancast for the role I've been behind it. I was happy to hear Dave Filoni listened to the fans on this one and cast her to play Ahsoka.

I'm pretty sure this show takes place at the same time as or after The Mandalorian. In last season's crossover, Ahsoka was already looking for Thrawn. In fact, that high magistrate lady who fought Ahsoka with the Beskar spear is in the trailer. So, either we are getting a flashback with that lady working with Thrawn or she was never really taken to prison after her last encounter with Ahsoka but went to meet back up with Thrawn?? We never got to actually see what happened to that lady magistrate after that episode. One of those scenes in the trailer looks like a live-action recreation of that post-Return of the Jedi last scene in Rebels on Lothal. I wonder if we will also get to see Jacen Syndulla in this show. They referenced the EU book, Heir to the Empire, which is by far the most beloved Star Wars EU novel of all time. I am so hoping that somehow Mara Jade can be finally brought back into canon and live-action. I wonder if those orange lightsabers are, in any way, related to the "fool's kyber" that glowed orange and was featured in the new canon "Master and Apprentice" novel that Obi-Wan used when fighting guards with lightsaber-proof shields. Looks like wherever Ahsoka is fighting against that other person who may be a dark Jedi may be inside the World Between Worlds based on the markings in the background.

@Jay-3 Entertainment, 6:26 Yes, this is after A New Hope. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay after! This follows Rebels, which follows Return of the Jedi! This story is taking place at the same time as the Mandalorian and the Book of Boba Fett. Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth, seen here at 2:19, was in season two of the Mandalorian. She's the one who had the Beskar spear. All of these new stories are trying to do for the sequel trilogy like Clone Wars did for the prequels, make the story better. Rian Johnson went into his Star Wars directorial debut with a sledgehammer, and he made it pretty hard to fix, but it sure does look like Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau would like us all to hold their beer, lol. Ahsoka's title card and this scene right here 2:21 is the World between Worlds! If you saw Star Wars Rebels, you've seen what this place can do--it's a Star Wars do-over device! Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati both use orange Kyber crystals in their lightsabers. They aren't Sith, but they aren't Jedi either--keep in mind that Ahsoka, said she isn't a Jedi during this time period too. Why are they battling here? Is Ahsoka trying to stop them from changing something in the past/future? We see Shin attacking an Imperial ship and we see her master, Baylan, attacking an Alliance soldier. The Mandalorian season three told us a couple stories ago that the New Republic discontinued the Empire and Alliance Forces, so are we seeing the past in this teaser? I am aware of the most recent Mandalorian episode that showed us the Imperial Shadow Council, so yes, I'm aware, that the Empire is still out there, but that doesn't erase the fact that we also so an Alliance soldier, which is why I think we might have seen the past. If we did see the past, what are these two trying to do? Why would Ahsoka try to stop them; she is fighting Baylan in this scene! We saw four Force users in this teaser and four tags: Warrior, Rebel, Outcast and Jedi. Surely, that wasn't a coincidence, right? Baylan might be the warrior and his apprentice might be the rebel. I already talked about Ahsoka not being a Jedi at this point in time, but the droid Huyang's lines at the end of the teaser, about it being time to begin again, might be his way of telling her that she needs to be a Jedi again--she's been doing the Jedi work since she left the order anyway, so why not also do so in name only? At some point she needs to be a Jedi again, doesn't she? When Rey fights Palpatine at the end of the Rise of Skywalker, we here the voices of all the fallen Jedi giving her strength in the final battle and Ahsoka was one of them. If Ahsoka is the Jedi the tag mentions, the Inquisitor we see her battling might be the Outcast, and I wonder if that Outcast is someone we know from Clone Wars, the person responsible for Ahsoka no longer being a Jedi, Barriss Offee! We never got closure to her story, and this would be an awesome way to do that, IMHO. This looks great! I cannot wait =) EDIT: Mena Massoud played live-action Aladdin. Ezra is shown in the teaser, the figure in the hologram, and he's being played by Eman Esfandi.

5-10 years after Return of the Jedi, same time as Mandalorian, Filonis movie is going to be the culmination of The Mandoverse (Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, Skeleton Crew and Ahsoka) with Thrawn and the Imperial remnent as the big bad in an Avengers style team-up of all those shows. Mon Mothma from Andor is just Mon Mothma... lol (she might even be Chancellor of the New Republic in this)

I like the trailer. But I will say that I'm not crazy about the actress playing Sabine. Just not hitting for me YET. Maybe a second trailer will make her look more like a Mandalorian, a warrior than how she looks in this trailer.
