Transformers prime were not based on the bay movies, they were actually blending of g1 style and Bay movies style and this show have far beeter story than any of the movies, Transformers prime is one of the Best things that were made grom Transformers and you defenitly should check this out

Transformers Prime isn’t in the Michael bay timeline, it takes inspiration with some of the designs buts its part of the aligned continuity. Definitely one of the best shows of of the 2010s and easily the best transformers show. Nice video btw

I certainly agree with this. The Decepticon Song of Praise is especially good. The Headmasters op was sung by Kageyama Hironobu who sang many DBZ songs. The Transformers Zone songs were sung by Ichiro Mizuki who sang the songs for Kamen Rider X, Stronger, and Skyrider.

Transformers holds a special place in my heart. When I was 3, my dad introduced me to it. we would watch the Generation 2 cartoon on TV everyday together, then in 1996 came Beast Wars, and I have been a hardcore Transformers fan ever since. I still to this day collect the toys, and consider them one of the greatest toy-lines for children ever, because they are basically puzzles, and transforming them promotes problem solving and creative thinking.

Beast Wars was my introduction to Transformers as a kid, later I caught Energon and Cybertron when they were on tv. Beast Wars is still my favorite show and has my favorite intro song. Whenever I see hotshot or bumblebee I give them the side eye and say you can't replace Cheetor!

Whoever made that video was about to say they forgot the netflix trilogy. The third part of it mixed the autobots, decepticons, predacons and maximals with G1 and the Beast Wars guys but its a whole differenr continuity then again they all are really. Nice reactions!

@@Jay3Entertainment both, the fanbase usually argues between Animated, Prime and Beast Wars, if you are a fan of G1, Animated does a lot of clever twists, and some references to Beast Wars even, since one of the main bad guys is Blackarachnia, it may start a bit slow with some human villains which feel out of Teen Titans TV show (same art director), but that is because the Decepticons are overpowered War machines compared to the Autobots, specially our main cast that is an Space Bridge repair crew, that through the show will become the greatest heroes in Cybertronian history, watch it with your kids too, it's a show that both of you can enjoy.

If you ask me, RiD 2001 is the most kid out of all of them, even moreso than Rescuebots (which does have some serious situations). The predacons were textbook Saturday morning villians, like Dr. Claw and Team Rocket. They had goofy plots and somewhat meta jokes. But it's still a fun time which got a special place on my childhood. And fun fact, Rescuebots takes place in the same universe as Prime.

If you haven't you need to watch transformers animated,it may look childish but the writing in it gets really good starting late season 1(all I'm saying is you need to watch it). Also the guy who did the art direction is the same guy who did Teen Titans,Ben 10 Omniverse,and Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated(all of which are also pretty good).

Can we all agree that the live action movies keep disappointing us by not adding their Theme songs, not saying I don't like their soundtracks, Arrival to Earth is now a classic. But I wish a version of the G1 theme was in bumblebee since it takes place in the 80's and the beast wars theme was in Rise of the beast it was made in the 90's. Such missed opportunities.

The 1986 movie was the most traumatic cartoon . They not only killed of all your favorite characters (both autobots and decepticons all had great character development) But they killed all of your toys you where safing up for . after 2 years i saved enough money to buy optimus prime and they killed him 1 month later.

Generation 2 was just edited replays of certain G1 cartoons narrated by an early CG Optimus to a live action boy. Animated was a pre-teens kids show like the others (not aimed towards toddlers) and their transformation were actually thought out and do work. It just uses the animation style that was popular at the time. (Teen Titans, Scooby Doo, Kim Possible were all using that style). Rescue Bots was the one aimed at toddlers.

Transformers Generation 2 was reruns of G1 episodes in 1992. Transformers had been off the air since 1989, so it was nice to see them again. There was a Transformers Generation 2 comic book that took place after the G1 Marvel comic book. Beast Wars started off slow, but got more interesting later on.

You are missing ;) Japanerse G1 intro, diffrent the USA Headmasters Masterforce (2 diffrent intros) Victory You should really look at these as they really are diffrent. i.e In headmasters intro is Raiden, the 6 autobot train combiner, never relesed in the USA. Season 2 intro is the best one though...

I was around since the BW era (for some ungodly reason, it was renamed Biocombat here), but I didn't really got on it until after with RiD and Armada. animated is good, a bit juvenile at times, but it's a lot more complex under the surface G2 is a nothing sandwich. literally, the whole thing is reruns of the g1 cartoon with a new intro and a new "talk with optimus" segment

RiD 2015 was by far the worst one of the newer shows. The fact that it's supposed to be the sequel to Prime is a massive slap to the face. So many inconsistencies and poor writing arcs, it's just abysmal. Especially how they somehow regressed Bumblebee and Optimus as characters Rescue bots was alright. It's EXTREMELY kid friendly but it's enjoyable to some degrees. Same thing for Cyberverse. The latter has a average story with some maturity in it. In terms of animation, it's a real change. Best praise I can give it is reintroducing or straight up introducing (ex. Rack n Ruin) a lot of Autobots and Decepticons that haven't had a adaptation in such a long time. I don't know much about that Nickolodean TF show tho. Only thing Ik is that they turned Megatron good which sounds bad already especially based on the reasoning behind it.

I grew up watching the re runs of Beast Wars i even had some of the toys. I remember when Beast Machines came out but i didnt like it, at the time i remember thinking the desings looked ugly. I had the Beast Machines Cheetor toy but i had no clue how to transform him.

Some fun facts about Beast Wars it actually saved the franchise, Waspinator was originally supposed to die in the first episode of season 2 to make way for new characters but story editors Bob Forward and Larry DiTillo convinced Hasbro to spare Waspinator because of how popular he was so Terrorsaur was chosen instead to die along side Scorponok. Also with Beast Machines it was made to both be a sequel and its own thing, the writers for Beast Machines were only given the cliff notes about the show and the characters and were never allowed to watch any of the Beast Wars episodes.

The Beast Wars was my childhood and the first time I ever saw Transformers! Cheetor was my favorite then Optimus Primal became my favorite! I had toys of Optimus Primal (original gorllia & Transmetal gorilla), Rattrap (Transmetal rat), & Megatron (original T-Rex & Transmetal T-Rex) but I could never seem to find or buy Cheetor (original cheetah, Transmetal cheetah, & Transmetal 2 cheetah) until the Transformers Rise of the Beasts which allowed me to finally get a Cheetor toy! Beast Wars was the best cartoon (not based on comics) in the 90s!

Transformers Generation 2 was a bit of an oddity. It came out in the early 90's. The show was G1 with CGI effects added and the toys were a rerelease of the G1 toys but in different colors, except for Optimus and Megatron. Optimus was pretty much the same but they added a box that made sounds, Megatron was redesigned from a gun into a tank.

You are missing other transformers animated shows that was produced by the Japanese, Transformers : Headmasters, Transformers: Super God Masterforce, Transformers: Victory and the one single episode realeased only on VHS Transformers: Zone. There were other japanese animated shows based from the Beast Wars which i couldnt careless, still worth to watch if you are interrested. Fun fact, about Transformers:Headmasters , it is the continuation of the season 4 of the G1 american show that only had 3 episode after the return of Optimus Prime at the end of season 3. Season 3 takes place after the 1986 movie just for your info. Now When the japanese produced Headmasters, they havent watched the movie so some characters who had been killed in the movie has magically reapeared thus is a continuaty error on thier part. Still worth to watch and available from the shout factory on DVD and the other 2 series, super-god masterforce and Victory. Unfortunetly Zone is not available anywhere except here on you tube , where there is a low quality version.
